I think so, and I believe they can still change even after death. Snowtuft is proof of that, as he let go of his own life to help save the clans and his home. Snowtuft wasn't wanting a reward either, he did it out of the goodness of his heart like a true warrior. This is why I think a DF cat should be given a second chance, because they can change.
Then again, most of the DF have done terrible things, so should they just be forgiven?

I wish there was a depends option? I mean, if they could let Ashfur in - who helped take a leader's life and attempted to murder 3 cats.... Maybe not cats like Tigerstar or Brokenstar who are unforgivable, but Juniperclaw? Silverhawk? Snowtuft? Sure. They regretted their actions. I felt bad for Silverhawk that he wouldn't get to see his mate in Starclan, especially seeing that he didn't seem to have the hatred in his heart anymore
Likewise, you can see Juniperclaw has genuinely reflected and regrets his actions.

I think it depends, it seems like StarClan is really skewed on who they let in these days. Like you have Onestar who refused to give herbs to a clan that included deathly ill elders and kits, herbs which was there and ready to be given. He basically caused the death of three cats, including an elder and a clan deputy. He also broke the code by having a forbidden relationship, but I don't think a cat should go to the DF for that. Anyway, he gets put into StarClan. Then you have Stumpytail who went on patrol with Tigerclaw like one time or something who is in the Dark Forest. So, a second chance does sound like a good idea, and it's not like just because the option is available, that all of them will get a second chance, like Mapleshade? She is too far to be redeemed, same with Brokenstar (well, really since he's double dead), and cats like that who have shown time and time again that going to the path of good is not in their cards, so I'll go with yes, even though I don't agree with all of them getting second chances.

Not really because generally, you'd have to do something really bad and unforgivable in order to get in. But I voted yes because giving them a second chance after a long time and after they've shown to genuinely regret it is cool too.

I'm in the depends camp. The second chance should not be guaranteed. Only cats who show true remorse for their actions should be considered. Their age and life circumstances should also be considered. But they should not be allowed into StarClan period. Instead they will be punished in the DF for a certain amount of time. If they then show true remorse, they are given the option of either joining Juniperclaw as a guard or returning as a ghost.

depends. as of now, yes. theyre putting the morally grey or “did a really bad thing but not entirely raving evil bastards” cats in there, and i think they should get second chances. if they stuck to the dark forest being a place where all of the residents almost wanted to be there and were entirely pure evil with no desire to be better, then no, redemption shouldnt be an option.

Normally I'd say no, you have one life and that's that, but considering how messy and unreliable the StarClan-Dark Forest system is...I'll say yes.

Really just depends. The Dark Forest is all over the place recently, cat's like Frecklewish and from what I've heard Snowtuft deserved a second chance, cats like Mapleshade are practically irredeemable and I don't see her changing her ways. I voted yes, but I mean "depends"

It depends to me. I'd like to see what exactly they did to get there first. Obviously cats like Brokenstar and Tigerstar don't deserve one.

As others have already said, it really depends on what exactly each individual Dark Forest cat did to get there in the first place and further, if they even regret their actions at all. But StarClan definitely needs to work some sort of guideline out in that regard, instead of not giving anyone a chance to redeem themselves.
