I was wondering if anybody here has attempted the other series under Erin Hunter and your thoughts on them compared to Warriors. I’ve read the 1st three books of Suvivors and thought they were okay. I’ve completed both arcs of Seekers and I kind of went through a phase where I was obsessed with Seekers. Warriors has a reputation of being dark and violet but I honestly think Survivors and Seekers were more brutal overall, with Warriors having more happy moments.
I plan on reading all of the series because I love animal fiction. At least someday... hopefully before I die. lol

I love all of them. Don't have Bamboo Kingdom yet. I'm the most invested in Bravelands. The ending of the first arc broke my heart. Seekers holds a special place in my heart as I first read it as a child after Warriors. I love the characters. Same with Survivors. It was a bit boring at first, but I got more invested as it went on.

I picked up the first book of survivors a while ago, Though it didn’t really peak my interest and I forgot about it
Seekers seems pretty interesting though! I may try reading it

I've read them all entirely except Bamboo Kingdom, the first book of which is literally right next to me on my desk. I'll probably actually start reading it tomorrow.
I love them all, but Survivors is my favorite of them, followed by Bravelands, and then Seekers. Storm from Survivors is actually my favorite Erin Hunter character(sorry Dovewing :c ), and I love a lot of the other Survivors characters too.
I LOVE the first half of the first Bravelands arc; didn't like the second half as much, but I still enjoyed it and that ending... The second Bravelands arc is off to a real promising start imo. I'm super excited for book 2 to release.
As for Seekers, I enjoyed the first arc and loved how tight-knit the main group of characters became. I thought the second arc was pretty meh though; I hardly even remember anything from it.

The character development in Seekers is definitely it’s strong point. Compared to Warriors having 100s of characters, it’s pretty refreshing having focus on a only a few characters. I’ve also noticed while reading Seekers how heavily Warriors relies on dialogue to drive the plot. In Warriors, you can basically just read the dialogue still understand most of the story.

I own these series, I have four books for Seekers arc 1 and I just got back to finishing up book two since I had to read ALITM and some books from school. Seekers is a pretty good series so far as I remembered it to be, would definitely get the rest of arc 1 and 2.
I have the first arc of Survivors but I never got around reading it since I was busy and I found the first book to be boring a few years ago and not entirely sure why, I’ll have to reread it and read the entire arc because I heard it gets better as it goes on. I’ll get arc 2 if it does get better.
Bravelands on the other hand is my second favorite EH series, I liked how they explore the setting and all the animal cultures and lifestyles. I really liked arc 1 but unfortunately it suffered having a weaker second half like DOTC and AVOS but still enjoyable. I have all of the books and I’m looking forward for book 2 for arc 2, it’s very promising.
Lastly, Bamboo Kingdom, I own the first book but haven’t read it yet, I read the sample and I’m not quite sure how to feel about it just yet. From what I read from the blurb, it kinda sounds like a POT meets Seekers. I hope this isn’t what this series is though because I’m willing to give it a chance and I want something new and fresh since it seems to be written by a new author. Guess I’ll have to wait and see for that one.

I've read all of them, but I've never finished Seekers. I've only read the first series so far, but maybe I'll try and read the second one once I've finished Wings of Fire. My favourite was Survivors, I actually do like dogs more than cats and I just think the story was very compelling. I like how they stopped after the second series and didn't drag it out endlessly. I also enjoyed Bravelands, but the books got kind of weird once the golden wolves appeared and I didn't like them as much anymore. The second series has this weirdness as well so far, I don't really know what to think about it. Bamboo Kingdom is fine so far, Ghost is great, but Leaf is such a boring protagonist…

I've only read Survivors and Bravelands.
Survivors is really, really good. Especially the second arc, Storm is one of the best and most relatable characters in any media.
Bravelands is also pretty good, though the latter half of the arc gets a little weird.

I read Seekers, but I never liked Ujurak. He always just felt really annoying to me, and the story needed to detour to accommodate him constantly. He was just a massive drag and pain to read through and I could not find him compelling. I'll say that the rest of the cast was fine, but it was just dragged down by the miserable Ujurak chunks. The second arc without him just ends up feeling aimless.
This sounds like I hate it but I really don't, I think it's decent, just doesn't focus on what I liked.

I've read Bravelands and Bamboo Kingdom.
Bravelands is good, but I did personally struggle to be fully invested in Fearless and Sky and honestly probably wouldn't have kept reading if it weren't for Thorn.
Bamboo Kingdom and Curse of the Sandtongue (the 2nd Bravelands arc) have only just started so I can't really say much about them. I like both of the series so far, but I'm very concerned that they will become worse when they get to books 4-6 like Erin Hunter series tend to be.
Been considering trying out Survivors for a while now, I've heard great things about that series.

I only read the first three books of Seekers and the first book of Survivors quite some time ago. I might actually pick up the latter again because the premise seemed fun at the time and the only reason I stopped reading it afterwards was because translation into German took rather long at the time and I just got interested in other things.
I have never read Bravelands or Bamboo Kingdom but heard good things so far.

Besides Warriors, I tried Survivors when it came out. I think I read as far as the second or third book, but I found the characters wholly unlikable and many straight up annoying, so I never finished it.

When the first book of Seekers came out my dad got confused because he was just in the mode of "buy every new Erin Hunter book, regardless of title". (He bought them for me, he literally had no idea what the books were, lol). So I got Seekers book 1. Read it, hated it. Haven't read any of the other series since.
Yes, I was a small kid. But I stopped engaging with Warriors in 2012, and I don't love the new books, so nothing tells me I'm going to somehow love the other series.
