i am interested to see who wins this popularity poll. u can't pick both or neither!
i like both of them, but if i had to choose only one, i'd pick gray wing any day. he may not be a gryffindor brave like firestar, but he's a hufflepuff type of brave and is more on screen loving and caring to others.

Definitely Firestar. I love them both, but I prefer Firestar's personality and POV.

Since a lot of people skipped DOTC, plus the fact that Firestar is the very first protagonist; I'm pretty sure Firestar will win this poll. But I personally really loved Gray Wing and his character, so I'm voting for him anyway. I love him.

Firestar is the original protagonist and has so much nostalgic value for me, plus he’s just a really fantastic cat overall and is my childhood , I don’t think anyone can replace him as the Indomitable king of the series. Firestar to warriors is like Zayn Malik to One direction, neither can be replaced nor should be attempted too. Gray wing is Great too. But TPB and firestar are my childhood, and while Firestar’s story arc remains intriguing through his whole story beginning to end for me at least, DoTC starts losing its originality and power, and became very repetitive and dragged out during the latter half, and decreases it’s value for me. Firestar is the epitome and pinnacle of what defines warriors for me, and everything beyond his Arc’s ending with TLH and subsequent departure of Victoria Holmes( who I have had the honor of meeting in person, and is truly an inspired and fantastic person) from the series, has just left the series with a piece of magic that’s been absent ever since. While I have found some comical enjoyment with the series proceeding her stepping down. There’s just no replacing the magic she brought to the series that she created and imagined into existence. There’s a reason why Victoria Holmes Era of Warriors made it onto the NYT bestsellers list much more consistently and sold better then then the current Era of the Warriors series. While she may not of kept everything 100% perfectly consistent. Her passion for the series and characters she created is far more evident then anything the current team has done, which many of their decisions are abominable in my opinion. Victoria Holmes is the brainchild of Warriors, and as it stands nothing can replace the work and passion she’s devoted to the series.

I did enjoy Firestar's POV in TPB and I really like his character right until the end (even if he was stupid sometimes).
But Gray Wing is my favourite character and favourite protag. I find that he contributes so much and generally has a lot of good ideas. His character growth is great and stems way further that Firestar's did.
So, in short, I love both. But I love Gray Wing more.
