Unnecessary? I dislike how this book and the darkest night simultaneously spoil each other.

I wasn't able to finish it as I thought it was really boring, and I didn't like the travel scenes. Fuzzball was nice though

it’s fine, had some interesting concepts and the execution was alright. don’t really like traveling books and i thought a lot of the conflict was avoidable though. not a fan of the way that some modern super editions serve as main series books nowadays though, and this book is probably the worst in that regard

Evil heinous cruel heartless book solely because I got it as a gift years ago and every time I remember it exists I'm like oh God I still need to read that

I liked the Guardian cats and Fuzzball but I absolutely couldn't stand Tigerheart.

It is unnecessary and annoying. Just like the TigerDove romance and Tigerheart becoming leader.

It was pretty good imo, mostly because of the Guardian Cats and how much Fuzzball tortured Tigerheart. Reading all the forbidden romance drama wasn't really fun though.

The Guardian Cats were pretty good, I liked that they showed the city cats living differently from the Clans.
Like most other people, I didn't like Tigerheart. The beginning was painful to read and contributed to this being the last SE I finished reading.

I kinda didn't like Tigerheart's POV, but I did mostly enjoy the book itself. The moments with Dovewing and the DoveTiger kits were cute, the Guardian Cats had some fun characters, and Fog was a pretty cool antagonist.

I didn't like it much for several reasons, one being that at the time I read the book, I disliked both Dovewing, Tigerheart, and their entire relationship in general. Some other reasons are: Dovewing did a complete 180 with her decision about Tigerheart, Tigerheart dying but being resurrected, (which made absolutely no sense. Sure, he was the deputy and the leader was dead, but there are two different examples of a leader and deputy dying around the same time and the deputy isn't resurrected) and Tigerheart becoming a leader. However, I did like some of the characters introduced in this SE, though that's probably just because I like being introduced to new groups of cats that aren't that similar to the Clans.

Another book butchering poor Rowanstar to boost up Tigerjesus.
It makes me angry. That said, I DID like the idea of the Guardian Cats. Wish it hadn't been another example of clan cats pushing that their way of life is better though

I found it rather boring and unnecessary, though I did like the Guardian cats, especially Fierce and Fog. I also enjoyed reading the journey back home at the end of the book.

The first quarter and the Guardian Cats are great, but I could do without the rest. Unnecessary story that could've just played out in the main arc.

I really enjoyed it, I think it's my second favorite SE, though, I wish it would have focused on other things, but at least it was actually about Tigerheart, unlike a lot of standalones that have been coming out recently.

I enjoyed it, a delightful change from all the negative opinions being mentioned about it at the time. For a required reading book, it was better than something like SQH. I enjoyed the Guardian cats and the fact it introduced other elements we had not seen prior within Warriors. Things we typically understand but for Tigerheart, it was something that had never been encountered prior. My only gripe is the ending bit and that none of his kits died on the trek back. (With all the close-calls, one of the girls should have certainly died on the way back. Or at the very least one of the kits in the other three cat litter.)

I don't think it's as horrible as people say, and it's overhated. I actually don't think this book even tries to ruin Rowanstar as many people say, i think it's a good sendoff for his character instead. I think Tigerheart's Shadow is a good book, it has pretty cute TigerDove scenes.
