AeroclanIntroductionA faint scent was in the air, but it disappears too quickly. Shrugging it off, you continue to walk along the cliff. Below the long cliff is a very dangerous drop. Anyone who fell off would die in an instant from the looks of the sharp rocks below. Shuddering, you move a little further from the edge, before continuing your trek. The wind is rough, but you make sure to stay on your feet. All of a sudden, a wall of wind surrounds you, trapping you where you stood. The wind opens up to a group of cats.
"What are you doing here, trespasser?" a white tom asks coolly.
"Trespasser?" you ask, feeling confused. How were you trespassing?
"You've entered our territory."
"Sorry. I didn't know. I didn't scent anything while walking," you apologise. The tom looks at you seriously before flicking his tail. The cats surround you indicating for you to follow after the tom. You do as they wish, not wanting to end up hurt. They take you to a tunnel. You follow the white tom in, only to see a glowing pool at the end of it.
"Drink from the pool. Then lay down, close your eyes and place a paw or tail into the pool," the white tom orders. You do as he says. It was all so mysterious, you weren't sure what it was all for. Closing your eyes, everything is dark. You can't seem to open them again. It was just too weird. Soon, faint white lights appear along with a gentle humming.
"Hi newblood!" voices begin to say when the humming gets too loud. The humming stopped so suddenly, you jump in surprise when you hear the voices.
"What's a newblood?" you ask.
"Someone who comes from outside the clan."
"Someone with ancestors that came from this clan."
"Someone who will treat this clan as your own in the future."
"Welcome to Aeroclan!" The voices were so loud, you suddenly jerk up, panting.
"What was that?" you gasp, looking wide-eyed at the white tom.
"That was a greeting from our ancestors," the white tom meows seriously. "You're a user of the wind. A future new wind elemental. Will you join our clan and learn more about our ways?"
"Yes," you say, feeling shaken up. It was all too mysterious. You wanted to know more.
"Welcome to Aeroclan. I'm the leader Aerostar," the white tom meows. AboutThis is an 8 clan Rp. Aeroclan is the clan of wind. Cats of this clan can manipulate wind and its sub-elements. The other clans are Ignisclan, Hydroclan, Geoclan, Xyloclan, Luxclan, Umbraclan, and Astralclan. These 7 clans make up the elements of fire, water, earth, wood, light, dark and spirit.
These sub-elements of wind are only a guide. If you think of something new, please tell us, and it'll be added to the list. Each clan has a specific elemental bloodline. For Aeroclan, it's wind. When you have kits of two different clans, sometimes the kit will have aspects of one parent and not the other. And sometimes there is a fusion of both parents abilities. Here is the list.
Wind: This is the basic wind manipulation and creation. It is common. (3 / unlimited) Flight: This is the ability to fly. It is rare. (0 / 5) Weather: This ability is for those with Fire/Water/Wind bloodline. This is the ability to change the weather with the fusion of three bloodlines. This is rare. (0 / 5) Bubble: This ability is for those with a Water/Wind bloodline. Bubbles are not very useful, but can be used to trap cats. Cats with this ability can change the viscosity of bubbles, making it harder to pop. It is uncommon. (1 / 10) Vapour: This ability is for those with a Water/Wind bloodline. This is the ability to manipulate and create vapour. These cats can only use the water elements in the air. This is rare. (0 / 5) Gravity: This ability is for those with Earth/Wind bloodline. This ability is to manipulate the gravity. It is rare. (0 / 5) Plasma: This ability is for those with Fire/Wind bloodline. This is super rare. Plasma is super heated matter that is found in nuclear weapons. (1 / 1) Enhanced Hearing: This ability is for those with Wind/Spirit bloodline. These cats can hear far distances. It is common. (0 / unlimited) Enhanced Smell: This ability is for those with Wind/Spirit bloodline. These cats can smell something from far away. It is common. (0 / unlimited) Enhnaced Speed: This ability is for those with Wind/Spirit bloodline. These cats can run fast. It is common. (1 / unlimited) Sound Nullification/Amplification: These cats can nullify sound by keeping the air still or increase airwaves. It is uncommon. (0 / 10) Gas: These cats can pick and choose the types of gases they use. It is uncommon. (0 / 10) Vacuum: These cats can create and manipulate a vacuum. It can ward of elemental attacks, and hold fire elemental cats. It is super rare. (1 / 1) Attribute Imbuement: This ability is for those with a Wind/Wood bloodline. This allows a cat to imbue an element into a plant to help it grow in a different environment. It is super rare. (0 / 1) Oxygen: This ability is for those with a Wood/Wind bloodline. This allows a cat to create oxygen in hard to breath places. It is uncommon. (0 / 10) Ion: This is the ability to take certain ions from the air and manipulating it. It is rare. (3 / 5)
Apart from the cats who have an affinity for wind. There is also one cat who can live in any territory. It is a very rare cat that is only born twice in a lifetime. The second is born near the end of the first's lifespan.
Fate: These cats have power over prophecy and destiny. They know everything about another cat's fate, though they never really speak of it. Only when a prophecy comes, do they speak about their abilities. Otherwise, they're probably the most normal. They will have dreams sometimes of another cat's future. Other times, they can walk in the dreams of others. (1 / 1)
Aeroclan also has two abilities that all wind users have. Atmospheric Breathing (They can breath in any atmosphere; except underwater) Immunity (They are immune to their own clan's attacks)
I hope you have fun with the breezy Aeroclan.

Also, don't overpower every opponent you fight. There is always a give and a take. When Rping battle scenes, add your character's thought process. Don't just say "such and such raked so and so in the face to distract him, then rammed into his shoulder. She presses him down, and aims for his throat". Give your opponent time to show their battle strategy.
Godmodding and spotlighting are boring and annoying in Rp's. Just don't do it. (A)

#9 The Books For the purposes of this Rp, the books don't exist. I don't mind what you name your cat, as long as it abides by the guidelines and terminology.
#10 Characters Please do not creat a Mary Sue / Gary Stue. It will not be accepted. Give your character some strengths, but also give it weaknesses. Give them some flaws. If you're having troubles, use this generator: Flaw Generator (Y)
#11 Realism This is an elemental Rp. You can have weird colours as long as it suits your cat's power. An example would be a purple pelt for a lightning elemental cat. The same goes for eye colour. (P)
#12 LGBT + It is allowed in this Rp. You can allocate what preference your cat has, but please keep it simple (hetero, homo or bi).
Cats with a preference for the same sex will be able to have kits, through a surrogacy/donor if they wish, but you must ask first. (E)
#13 Clan Positions The Clan Leader will be Rped by the owner first. The rper of the deputy will be the next leader.
There are two Diviners, but the second will only be born when the first is 156 moons old.
There will only be 3 healers and 3 healer apprentices.
#14 Queens and Kits You can join as a kit, but the kit will need a parent / guardian. Please ask if you want to become the kit of a character. If you want to join as an external kit, please ask who Rp's the character you want as the surrogate mother.
Queens who wish to stay long-term in the Queen den must have had at least 2 litters or a disability. (A)
#15 Character Ratios You can join with one character, but please try to keep the ratio between males and females as 50/ 50 as possible.
#16 Powers The cats cannot be overpowering. They must have some flaw in their ability, like they can't control it or their they can only control if after something happens. (R)
#17 Rp Times Everyone will Rp on the same days at the same times. One day can last a week, but in that day, all apprentices must have had at least 1 battle session or 1 hunting session. Each cat must also interact with at least 3 cats. That's when a day will end.
There will not be any time-skips for certain cats. If a time-skip is to happen, it will be for the whole clan, and will not go more than 1 moon.
You must keep watch of your own cat's age. If it's time for the cat to become a senior apprentice, warrior, senior warrior or elder, please tell the owner or the mods.
#18 Plots Now, there is no plot for Ignisclan, but if you have an idea for a plot, talk it through with everyone. If all members agree, then we can go ahead with it. Do make it detailed though. (L)
#19 Warrior Name The warrior name of all apprentices will be decided by me.
#20 Elementals / Dark Elementals When a cat dies and becomes an Elemental or Dark Elemental, that Elemental will become an NPC.
#21 Code To make sure you've read the rules, you will have noticed letters in brackets at the end of certain rules. This is the code. Please type the code in the other section of the joining form. TerritoryAeroclan is located on a plateau. It borders Hydroclan, Astralclan, Geoclan and Umbraclan.
Arduus Cliff Arduus Cliff is where Aeroclan's camp is located. It borders Hydroclan to the West of the territory.
Bird Paradise Bird Paradise is where the birds of prey hover around. It's dangerous for kits and young apprentices, especially since it's so close to the camp. It is to the North-West of the territory.
Training Ground The Training Ground is to the East of the territory and Bird Paradise. It's where the apprentices train.
Pine Grove Pine Grove is to the South of the Training Ground, but still on the Eastern side of the territory. It's a small clump of pine trees.
Sharp Rocks Sharp Rocks is to the West of the Pine Grove and South of the Camp. It's an area where sharp rocks are found. It is dangerous.
Hunting Ground The usual Hunting Ground is to the South of the territory.
Camp Aeroclan's camp was made by the cats of Aeroclan and Geoclan. Aeroclan helped move the rocks while Geoclan helped create the dens and merge the rocks together. With the help of both clans, Aeroclan's camp became a haven for wind elementals. PreyDue to the sheer cliff and the wide open spaces, the prey in Aeroclan are predominantely birds.

No cat really knows how the 8 Clans came to be, nor do they know why cats were chosen as the preferred animal to be reborn into. All the cats knew, was that they were elemental beings that were born as cats in a cycle. They could go long spans without being reborn, but each rebirth was a clean slate unless they turned dark. Usually, an elemental was beautiful. In addition to the colour of its element, an elemental would look like a galaxy of stars. When they turn dark or evil, however, those lights in the elemental dim and a hazy mist leaks from the elemental. Although dark elementals are reborn too, they tend to be born with disabilities until that hazy mist disappears and their light shines once more.
Aeroclan Aeroclan is the clan where the wind elementals gather. Aeroclan is known for their avoidance of fights, as they are best at escaping. Their history begins with Aerostar who was the very first leader of Aeroclan. They don't know much on how they started. but they do know key figures.
1st Leader: Aerostar Deputy: Palespeck Diviners: Otterfeather, Larkpaw Healers: Newtbranch, Birchblaze, Applebelly
2nd Leader: Palestar Deputy: Rabbitsplash, Perchtalon, Cedarburr Diviners: Larkbreeze, Cloverpaw Healers: Applebelly, Brambledrop, Marigoldspot, Blizzardpaw
3rd Leader: Cedarstar Deputy: Russetspots Diviners: Cloverbee, Ratpaw Healers: Blizzardbriar, Owlbright, Pikeclaw, Cherrypaw, Hollypaw
4th Leader: Russetstar Deputy: Quailstripe Diviners: Ratwing, Snakepaw Healers: Cherryfern, Hollycloud, Daisyeye, Briarpaw, Mintpaw, Breezepaw
5th Leader: Quailstar Deputy: Tawnybird Diviners: Snakeflower, Sheeppaw Healers: Briardust, Minteyes, Breezefall, Toadpaw, Larchpaw, Nutpaw
6th Leader: Tawnystar Deputy: Ravenleaf, Flowerhawk, Fernfire Diviners: Sheepface, Ryepaw Healers: Toadflight, Larchstem, Nutflake, Dawnpaw, Boulderpaw, Creekpaw
7th Leader: Fernstar Deputy: Whitewillow Diviners: Ryeflame, Shrewpaw Healers: Dawnfang, Boulderleap, Creekfrost, Sparrowpaw, Troutpaw, Logpaw
8th Leader: Whitestar Deputy: Olivefoot Diviners: Shrewskip, Lilypaw Healers: Sparrowlight, Troutfur, Logsong, Furzepaw, Sagepaw, Driftpaw
9th Leader: Olivestar Deputy: Squirrelmist Diviners: Lilyheart, Starlingpaw Healers: Furzespring, Sagepool, Driftjaw, Oakpaw, Pearpaw, Heatherpaw
10th Leader: Squirrelstar Deputy: Gorsepuddle Diviners: Starlingleg Healers: Heatherstep
Now Current Leader is Squirrelstar. Clan TraditionsDiviner Gathering The Diviners meet every crescent moon, so twice a moon. They gather and chat at the Elemental Pool where they learn about each other.
Healer Ceremony / Healer Gathering The Healer ceremony occurs on a new moon during the Healer Gathering. The Healers meet at the Elemental Pool and share tongues with the elementals. It is at this time that the Healers trade herbs if the other clans need it.
Apprentice Ceremony The apprentice ceremonies for warriors and healers occur on the half moon. Healer and warrior apprentices go with their mentors to the Elemental Pool where they will be blessed by the elementals with their element.

Important InformationPermanent Queens
To apply to become a permanent Queen, your character must have had two litters or have a permanent disability.
Litters
Litters will be determined by random generation. There can only be at most, 14 kits in a litter, so the number will be randomly generated from 1 - 14. For same sex mates, they can have surrogacy or adopt a kit.
After the number of kits has been determined, I will randomly generate between 1 (male) and 2 (female). I will then randomly generate a number from the amount of kits in that litter. That will determine the number of toms and she-kits in the litter.
Here's an example:
Generated number of kits in litter: 13
Generate gender (1 is male, 2 is female): 1
Number of males (generated from 0 - 13): 6
Number of females left over: 7
PregnancyIn reality, cats are pregnant for around 58 - 67 days. For the purposes of this Rp, a cat's pregnancy will be 2 moons. Because cats are fertile all their lives, cats can end up pregnant even as elders, so be careful.
Every 3 moons, there will be a random generation to determine whether a mated cat will end up pregnant. #1 Not Pregnant #2 Pregnant
Illness
During Leaf-Fall and Leaf-Bare, the temperature drops. That means the cats fall ill. The kits and elders will fall ill in Leaf-Fall and Leaf-Bare, whereas all cats will fall ill in Leaf-Bare. This will be randomly generated. There are four illnesses: #0 ~ No Illness #1 ~ Whitecough #2 ~ Greencough #3 ~ Fever #4 ~ Chills There will be random generation between 0 and 4 to determine whether a cat is sick. If a cat is sick, it'll go through a second random generation to determine the severity of the illness: #1 ~ Weak #2 ~ Mild #3 ~ Severe #4 ~ Extremely Severe Weak means the cat will get better within a week. Mild means the cat will get better within a moon. Severe means the cat will have a chance to get better or die. This will take it to another random generation between 1 (survive) and 2 (death). Extremely severe means the cat will die.
Wounds
With every battle means wounds. All cats participating in the battle will be randomly generated to determine the type of wound they receive and its severity. The types of wounds are: #0 ~ No Wound #1 ~ Bleeding #2 ~ Internal Damage #3 ~ Sprain #4 ~ Joint Dislocation #5 ~ Broken Bones Then comes the severity of the situation: #1 ~ Weak #2 ~ Mild #3 ~ Severe #4 ~ Extremely Severe Weak wounds means wounds that will quickly heal. Mild means it'll take at least a few moons to heal. Severe is a random generation between 1 (survive) and 2 (death). If survival is chosen, then it's a choice between 1 (no infection) and 2 (infection). If infection is chosen, then it'll go back to life and death. Extremely Severe means the cat will die.
Travel & Accidents
Travelling, cats normally get cracked pads, but this will be randomly generated. Each day, the cats in question will undergo random generation between 1 (no cracked pads) and 2 (cracked pads). They will also go through an accident generation between 1 (no accident) and 2 (accident). Of course, a cat can also have accidents around camp. The results of an accident are as follows: #0 ~ No Damage #1 ~ Internal Damage #2 ~ Sprain #3 ~ Joint Dislocation #4 ~ Broken Bones This is again followed by severity. #1 ~ Weak #2 ~ Mild #3 ~ Severe #4 ~ Extremely Severe These will follow the rules of wounds. The mentor touches noses with the apprentice, and the Clan greets the new apprentice by calling out their name before the mentor takes the apprentice to the Elemental Pool.
Healer Apprentice CeremonyThe Leader calls a Clan meeting at the half moon. The Clan's Healer announces that they wish to mentor an apprentice.
Healer: Cats of Ignisclan, as you know, I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown the virtues of a Healer. Your next Healer will be (Kit).
Leader: (Kit), do you accept the post of apprentice to (Healer)?
Kit: I do.
Leader: The from this moment on, you will be known as ___paw.
Healer: Tonight you must come with me to the Elemental Pool to receive your blessed ability as an apprentice. Then, on the night of the new moon, you must come with me to be accepted formally by the Elementals before the other Healers.
The mentor touches noses with the apprentice, and the Clan greets the new apprentice.
Night of the new moon, the Healer goes with the Apprentice to the Elemental Pool to present them to the Elementals, where the Apprentice confirms their wish to be a Healer.
Healer: (Apprentice), is it your wish to enter the mysteries of the Elementals as a Healer?
Apprentice: It is.
Healer: Then come forward.
Healer: Elementals, I present you with this Apprentice. (He/she) has been chosen to pursue path of a Healer. Grant (him/her) your wisdom and insight so that (he/she) may understand your ways and heal (his/her) Clan in accordance with your will.
The Healer Apprentice touches his/her nose to the Elemental Pool. Then the Healer and the Apprentice lay down and share a dream with the Elementals. Warrior CeremonyThe Clan Leader calls a Clan Meeting and call the apprentice.
Leader: I, Glowstar, Leader of Ignisclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend (him/her) to you as a warrior in (his/her) turn.
Leader: (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice: I do.
Leader: Then by the powers of the Elementals, I give you your warrior name. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (new warrior name). The Elementals honour your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full warrior of Ignisclan.
The leader rests their muzzle on the apprentice's head, and the apprentice licks the leader's shoulder. The rest of the Clan then greets the new warrior by calling them by their new name. The warrior will sit a silent vigil guarding the camp that night, except if that is not possible. Dying Warrior CeremonyLeader: I ask my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/She) has learned the warrior code and given up (his/her) life in the service of (his/her) Clan. Let the Elementals receive (him/her) as a warrior. (He/She) will be known as (new name).
Healer CeremonyOnce the Clan's Healer is satisfied with the apprentice's knowledge, they go to the Elemental Pool at the new moon. This is the only ceremony that is not performed by the Leader.
Healer: I, (name), Healer of Ignisclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of a Healer, and with your help (he/she) will serve (his/her) Clan for many moons.
Healer: (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the ways of a Healer, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice: I do.
Healer: Then by the powers of the Elementals I give you your true name as a Healer. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (new name). The Elementals honor your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full Healer of Ignisclan.
The Healer rests their muzzle on the apprentice's head, and they lick the mentor's shoulder. The other Healers greet them by their new name. Deputy CeremonyLeader: I say these words before the Elementals, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors (or former deputy) may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Ignisclan is (warrior's name). Leader CeremonyThe new Leader goes to the Elemental Pool with the Clan's Healers. After touching the Pool, the new Leader cannot move for a short period of time, because their old life is being ripped away so they can receive nine new ones. Upon awakening, the Elementals come down from the sky. Nine Elementals, normally ones who were significant during the new Leader's life, although this is not always the case, give them their nine lives.
Life-Giver: (Touches nose to the top of the new leader's head) With this life I give you (gift). Use it well (to, in, as, for, etc.) (use of gift).
When all of the lives have been given, the first Leader speaks.
First Leader: I hail you by your new name, _____star. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a Leader, and the Elementals grant you the guardianship of Ignisclan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity. Name Changing CeremonyThe leader calls a Clan meeting, and performs the change.
Leader: Elementals, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as Clan Leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on he/she will be known as (new name), for (description of the reason). Elder CeremonyLeader: (Warrior), is it your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders?
Warrior: It is.
Leader: Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given to us. I call upon the Elementals to give you many moons of rest.
The Clan will call out the retired warrior's name and then they will go to the elder's den. An elder may receive a completely different name, with a different ceremony, than keeping their warrior name. Usually, an elder ceremony is held only when a cat retires due to old age. If they are forced to retire because of a severe injury, there is no ceremony. Warrior Code#1 Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from outside the Clan, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
#2 Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
#3 Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
#4 Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to the Stars for its life.
#5 A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
#6 Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
#7 A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
#8 The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
#9 After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
#10 A Gathering of all eight Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
#11 Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
#12 No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from outside the Clan.
#13 The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
#14 An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
#15 A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
#16 Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the four. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.

Ailments Chest InfectionsWhitecough and greencough are the most common chest infections known to the Clan cats.
Whitecough is the milder form, but if untreated, it can develop into the much more severe greencough. Cats usually catch it during leaf-fall and leaf-bare, and sometimes it develops into large-scale epidemics. It can be fatal for elders and kits, and it has claimed the lives of several cats. It spreads quickly and is highly contagious.
Yellowcough causes fever, loss of appetite, diffculty breathing, delirium and sore throats.
Treatment Medicine cats treat it using catmint. If fevers accompany the cough, tansy or borage is used as well.
Yellowcough can be treated with lungwort. PoisoningPoisoning is the ingestion of a substance that causes harm to the body. If only a small quantity of poison is ingested, the cat usually just receives a bellyache, but larger amounts can cause death. If a cat has been severely poisoned they may become unconscious for a length of time.
Treatment Medicine cats treat these bellyaches with yarrow or nettle leaves, while mild bellyaches can be treated with juniper or watermint. To make a cat potentially vomit the poison, immediately give them yarrow. Loss of Sensory PerceptionA cat may lose their eyesight or hearing due to old age. Or from accidents and infections, or birth defects. These conditions usually end their career as a warrior, as they cannot hunt or fight efficiently, and must retire as elders. Kits born with defects usually die young, unless they have special skills compensating it. Kits that are white with blue eyes have a higher chance of being born deaf. Joint AchesA condition usually associated with elders, the joints gradually degenerating with age, causing pain and difficulty to move. Damp environments can cause the appearance of this condition.
Treatment Apprentices must make sure that the moss they gather for bedding is completely dry. It is usually treated using daisy or ragwort poultices. ToothachesA toothache is caused by a cracked tooth, cavities, or an infection in the mouth.
Treatment Alder bark is used to soothe the pain. FeverFever is an abnormally high temperature of the body. It is not a disease in itself, but it usually signs the presence of an infection, such as greencough or an infected wound.
Treatment If needed, it can be treated with feverfew, borage, or lavender. ChillsChills are mostly associated with cold weather or being submerged in cold water for a long period of time. Although this condition is mild and is not a disease, it has claimed lives. Kits and elders are more at risk of dying when they get a chill.
Treatment Licking a cat's fur the wrong way gets the blood flowing again. A poultice of lavender, catmint and feverfew is also a good remedy. WoundsWounds are injuries when the skin and the muscles beneath are torn, cut, or punctured. They may put a cat's life in danger due to blood loss, infections, or the damage of the organs. Wounds are the most common injuries, due to the cats always fighting enemy Clans, badgers, or foxes. Minor wounds heal on their own in no time, but severe wounds must be treated by a medicine cat.
Treatment This treatment includes cleaning it thoroughly with the tongue, stopping the bleeding by pressing cobwebs on it, and applying poultices to prevent infection and help it to heal. Herbs used in the poultices include goldenrod, marigold, burdock root or wild garlic. If the wound becomes infected, chervil or horsetail is used as well. The pain can be eased with poppy seeds or willow bark. SprainsSprains are injuries to ligaments of a joint, caused by being stretched beyond their normal capacity and possibly torn. It causes severe pain and decreased ability to move the joint.
Treatment The cat must rest for several days. Joint DislocationJoint dislocation is the displacement of a bone from its normal joint.
Treatment Medicine cats treat this condition by first feeding the patient poppy seeds to make them sleepy so they don't feel it as much, and then forcing the limb back into the joint. Cracked PadsThe paw pads may crack while walking long distances on hard surfaces, or due to cold weather. Elders are especially prone to this condition.
Treatment It is treated with a poultice of coltsfoot or yarrow. Dock leaf poultices are also used to cool cracked pads. Broken BonesA broken bone is usually the result of an accident, such as falling down from a high place, or being hit by a monster. Cats most often break their legs, and while medicine cats try to bind the bone with cobwebs, the injury usually results in the cat remaining crippled for the rest of their life. A more severe injury is when a cat breaks their backbone. This results in the cat being unable to feel or move parts of their body. If the break is bad enough the cat will be killed on or shortly after impact.
Treatment It is best to possibly make the patient swim in shallow water in hopes of exercising the injured limb or coming up with exercises to fit the patient's need. Battle Moves Basic༄ Back Kick: Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws.
༄ Belly Rake: A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws against the soft flesh of the opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back into control.
༄ Front Paw Blow: Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head. Claws sheathed.
༄ Front Paw Strike / Forepaw Slash: Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the face or body of your opponent.
༄ Killing Bite: A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort.
༄ Leap-and-hold: Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed.
༄ Partner Fighting: Warriors who have trained and fought together will often fall instinctively into a defensive position, each protecting each other's back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers.
༄ Play Dead: Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes their grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in attacking position.
༄ Scruff Shake: Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponent's neck; then shake violently until they are too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, who are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them.
༄ Tail Yank: Grab your opponent's tail and yank it with such force that your opponent is thrown off balance.
༄ Teeth Grip: Target your opponent's extremities – the legs, tail, scruff or ears – and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight.
༄ Upright Lock: Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring weight down on opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip them under you. This makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so it takes great strength and speed.
༄ Half-Turn Belly Rake: Turn onto your side, slip under the opponent's belly, rake it with your claws, then swiftly turn back onto all fours out from under your opponent.
༄ Badger Defense: Leap over opponent, turn on your back legs and bite opponent's leg. Used only when fighting badgers.
༄ Duck and Twist: Simple defensive move. The cat ducks then twists around, rolling over onto their back, and then springs to their paws.
༄ Jump and pin: Complicated move. Leap backwards, and bounce off the wall. With precise accuracy, land on the cat.
Specialised Advanced༄ Rear-up to Slash: To hurt opponents coming from the air, this move can be used to rear up on the hind legs and slashing at the enemy.
༄ Attack Crouch: Crouching down to leap out onto your enemy.
༄ Tucking in the Tail: The less you give your enemy to hold on to, the better. This technique takes practice, as balancing with a tucked-in tail is tricky.
༄ Arched Back: Used to intimidate the opponent or to vent out anger.
༄ Shoulder Drop: This move is performed by grabbing the opponent's shoulders and then locking them against the ground. From here, the cat can do anything such as churning their hind paws against their spine.
༄ Roll Over: Used by rolling over to avoid an enemy's swipes or grip. Used to crush an opponent that is on your back. Badgers can crush cats this way.
༄ Duck and Headbutt: Used by ducking an opponent's blow and headbutting them in the chest, bowling them over. Dark༄ Underbelly Slash: Dart under your enemy's underbelly, slashing at the back of their forepaws. When they twist, expecting you to emerge on the other side, back quickly out of the way you came. Hook your claws into your enemies fur, and drag them to the ground.
༄ Badger Defense ("Advanced"): An "advanced" Badger Defense. Leap over opponent, turn on your back legs, and, while turning, rake your claws on opponent's back. Then sink teeth into opponent's leg. Used only when fighting badgers.
༄ Spin Hind Kick: Flick your hind legs into the air while spinning around on your forepaws, then rear up rake at the enemy with your claws before tucking your head down and perform a forward roll.
༄ Hold And Enemy Collapse: Leap onto an enemy's back, and hold their head with your forepaws and use your hindpaws to knock their hindlegs out from under them, thus making them collapse to the ground. Night Ambush༄ Hide in the shadows of the night with your patrol and your enemy spotted.
༄ Make sure your scent isn't drifting toward the attackers.
༄ Wait for the leader of the patrol to give the Attack Tail Signal.
༄ Strike your enemy fast and hard; the enemy will be caught off-guard with a battle at night.
༄ Cut off all your enemy's escape routes, encircling them with your patrol.
༄ If they try to attack, battle again. If they do not, let them through with a warning. Speed & Agility༄ Approach from Above Your Enemy: Gain high-ground. Wait for the leader of the patrol to give the Attack Tail Signal. Charge down your high ground; your enemy will be weakened by having to fight uphill.
༄ Use the Light from the Sun: Attack your enemy with the sun behind you, which should dazzle the enemy and block their view.
༄ Know Where the Wind is Coming From: If there is a strong wind, it should blow from behind you; that should hold them back and blur their vision with dust. However, if stalking, make sure the wind is blowing toward you, as it could give away your scent if blowing toward your enemy.
༄ Conceal the Size of Your Force: Have your attackers in sight from a distance. There are two options: either you can group your warriors together tightly, making you seem like a small attacking force. Your enemy may become overconfident, which is likely to lead to them making poor strategic decisions. Or, if your warriors spread out single-file, it will seem impossible to pass to advancing enemy warriors and may intimidate them. Attack the enemy.
༄ Attack Both Ends of the Enemy Line First: Attack both ends of your enemy's line, leaving the middle cats to fend on two fronts; this will leave them outflanked, vulnerable, and in disarray. Attack the rest of the enemies until they run.
༄ Keep Fresh Warriors in Reserve: Always keep strong, fit warriors to replace injured ones.
༄ Feigned Retreat and Ambush: A group of strong cats screech and attack the enemy line. The group of fit cats retreat; repeat this until the enemy line breaks. Other warriors, usually tunnelers, jump out of rabbit holes and dips in the ground on the other side of the attackers. Attack from both fronts until the enemy surrenders. Aboveground Combat༄ The Sky-Crusher: Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Land squarely on the enemy, claws unsheathed.
༄ The Flick-Over: Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Land with all four paws outstretched on your enemy. Knock the opponent's feet from under him. Flip the enemy over to their belly; pin them to the ground until they surrender.
༄ The Kick: Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Kick the enemy as you near the ground. Use the momentum of the fall to spring backward before the enemy has time to attack.
༄ The Slice: Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Drop with claws unsheathed for maximum injury.
༄ The Branch Swing: Hold on to a branch with front claws as your back paws rake your enemy's face.
༄ The Reverse Branch Swing: Hold on to a branch with back claws as your front paws rake your enemy's face.
༄ The Trunk Spring: Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Slide down the trunk of your tree. Spring off the trunk with your back legs at head height to clear an enemy (good if tree is surrounded).
༄ The Reverse Climb: Pace backward as the enemy advances. Climb backward up the trunk to escape enemy; often followed by the Trunk Spring. Hunting Techniques༄ General Rule: Keep upwind from your prey!
༄ Hunter's Crouch: Keep your body low with your tail sticking out straight ahead. Hind legs must be ready to leap and front paws must be ready to pounce.
༄ Bird Leap: When a bird is aware it's being hunted, it'll fly up. You must leap as high as possible to drag it back down. When a bird is unaware, you must hunt it in short bursts of stalking to get close. Make sure to be ready for a leap to hook your kill, because as soon as you emerge, the bird will fly up.
༄ Bird of Prey: These types of birds must be hunted in groups. One cat is not enough. When stalking a mouse, birds of prey may also be eyeing it. A cat can initiate the attack by jumping on the bird's back. Others grab its wings, preventing flight, and the last will kill it.
༄ Mouse Stalker: Keep your paws light on the ground. Try to slide them without making a sound. The mouse will feel the vibrations of your feet before it sees or hears you.
༄ Voles / Shrews: Voles and shrews are alike. Hunt them in a crouching position. Kill them quickly because they're known to squeal when caught.

Gorsepuddle who was carrying some mice in his jaws, walks over to the fresh kill pile and deposits his prize. Earlier, he tried to catch a hawk but the larger bird managed to doge and screech at him. He planned to go out a little later on and try again. Least he was able to catch something to bring back to the clan. Coming back with nothing would have been embarrassing.
Skyleap groaned as she uses her powers to blow a wind against her fur. Why did it have to be so hot! She missed new-leaf when it was warm yet still nice. She couldn't wait for it to be leaf-fall. Skyleap loved seeing the leaves change color and enjoyed the cooler weather that the season brought with it.

Hawkeyes258:
Two moons into her apprenticeship, Sagepaw was still eager to learn. The young apprentice was really looking forward to learning more from her mentor. She felt Skyleap was a great mentor for her, especially when their abilities match. She would've hated it if she ended up with a mentor that had a different power to her. It was just so much easier when she could be understood by her mentor. Now, though, she watched Skyleap relaxing due to the heat. Rolling her eyes, she uses the limited control she had over the wind to help her down to where her mentor lay. "Skyleap, what am I learning today?" the pale tortoiseshell asks.

"You had better luck than me." Stormheart signed as he watched Gorsepuddle drop off his mice, sitting only a few fox lengths away. It was too hot, prey was hiding away in their tunnels, even with the clouds blocking out most of the sunlight. Though Stormheart tried to hide it, he was feeling irritated from the heat and lack of success he had on his own hunt, making Gorsepuddle's catching feel like salt in a wound. Nonetheless, he was glad the cat managed to catch a decent amount, more than the shrew and lizard he had caught at the hunting grounds. His sister was of no help either. He tried to have her use her bubble ability to catch prey from their nests or cracks in the earth, but she claimed it was too hard to do. He couldn't go dementalizing whatever he wanted, so they had to resort to traditional hunting.
"Good job, Gorsepuddle." Echosong purred from beside her brother, her tail flicking as she spoke, seeming less bothered by their hunt than her brother.

PearlSkyleap turns her attention to Sagepaw and thinks about what they could go over. She didn't really want to do anything but couldn't exactly tell her apprentice no. "I'm not sure to be honest but wouldn't hurt to work on your tracking and do a little bit of hunting. Maybe a little bit of battle training if this sun doesn't melt me." "Well, I would have added a hawk but it got away." Gorsepuddle mewed still sore about that. He disliked not being fast enough especially when hunting. "Suppose I just got lucky." He managed to find a small family of mice and managed to catch at least three of them.

(Hawkeyes258 I haven't sorted out all the forms for my cats yet, so I don't have a dedicated code for each of my cats right now xD. My posts will be looking bland for a little bit.)
The young she-cat nods her head, almost violently. "Okay! Where do we start? What prey are we aiming for?" The apprentice knew how to hunt mice and snakes, but there was no way she'd tell her mentor that she spend hours during the nights to perfect the craft. It was easy for her to slip out since the apprentice den was closer to the top of the cliff compared to the warrior's den, and when it was time for Skyleap to go on a nightly patrol, she stayed in bed so she wasn't caught. Each of the skills she's learnt were precious to her, and she would rather everyone think she was mouse-brained than a hard worker. It's always good to keep a few cards hidden.

Stormheart shook his head. "Luck has nothing to do with it." He told the cat. Sure it may seem like luck, right place right time; but if a cat knew their territory and prey, though were guaranteed to catch something, even if it was just a mouse or two. The grey cat shifted slightly, trying to cool his body on the earth to no avail. The humidity clung to his pelt like fleas.
"Well, whenever you do catch a hawk, I wanna bite." Echosong added, rolling onto her side with a yawn, her legs stretching out before she fully relaxed on the ground.

"Honestly whatever we can find." Skyleap mewed flicking her tail back and forth. "With this heat, I doubt most of the prey will be out. This may be snakes and lizards. If we are lucky, we might be able to get a larger bird." Skyleap rises to her paws and shakes her fur. "Let's head to the training ground to see if there are any prey around then we will go to the hunting ground."
(It's all good)

Hawkeyes258:
The young she-cat nods. "Okay," she meows, moving first. She makes her way back up the broken path to the top of the cliff. The paths were wide enough for the clan to lay on, but also dangerous because anyone could fall off if they were not careful. Sagepaw had always loved the story of how the clans started. It interested her how the clans were able to come together and build the camps together. Aeroclan would've never been able to build their camp on their own. She wished she knew how the clan looked when it was first built. It would've been in much better condition than now. Reaching the top, she looks back for Skyleap before continuing her way to the Training Grounds, eager to learn something new.

Skyleap follows Sagepaw carefully up the path while keeping an eye on Sagepaw. She was ready to leap forward to help in case she fell. When she was an apprentice, she remembered slipping on the path a few times. As they walked, Skyleap decides to speak up. "What do you smell so far?" She liked to keep Sagepaw on her paws and to be aware of her surroundings. Pearl

Hawkeyes258:
Sagepaw takes a deep breath in, her eyes closed, mouth slightly ajar. Releasing her breath, she looks at her mentor. "A few lizard scents and a snake, but nothing else," she meows. Learning to differentiate was something a kit learned easily, since all they did was eat and play. If they couldn't recognise the scent of a prey they've eaten, they've clearly done something wrong during their kit-hood. "I want to try catching a mouse. I couldn't find a mouse scent though. It could be because this is still too close to camp."

"Well done and correct most prey wouldn't dare be around camp." Skyleap mewed as she keeps walking. "We will possibly find some near the training and hunting grounds. Although, they might be hiding in their dens from this heat." However, she hoped there would be some lurking about. "Do you remember how to catch a mouse or do you need to be reminded." Pearl

(Hawkeyes258 Sorry about the poof. I had an exam, work and was sick from the booster.)
"I can't step, and need to swish my paws along the ground because mice can hear your pawsteps from a long way away. Was that it?" she asks, looking at her mentor. Sagepaw had a questioning look in her eyes. She had to keep up her mousebrained appearance, so she looked at her reflection in the water and practiced quite a bit to get the right look.

Skyleap nodded her head at her words. "That is exactly it. Compared to catching larger prey, mice can be pretty easy as long as your careful." She continues towards the training ground doing her best to ignore the warm feeling of the sun on her pelt. Least the wind was blowing in their direction, that offered a little bit of comfort.
Gorsepuddle glances around before settling down on the ground. He figured it wouldn't hurt to relax even just for a little bit. After a while, he would look for Squirrelstar and see if there was anything that needed to be done. "So, what you both been up too?" He asked feeling a little awkward for asking. Small talk wasn't his thing, but he wanted to act like a regular cat.
(sorry I didn't reply for a while and sorry the post is short)

Hawkeyes258:
Sagepaw nods. She moves a little slower, hoping to catch the scent of mice. Unfortunately, there were none in the area. "We'll probably have to go to the Hunting Ground to find any," she meows, speeding up a little again. The young apprentice loved the feel of the sun shining on her pelt. It felt warm like a blanket. The pale tortoiseshell always loved basking under the sun, but in Greenleaf, it got too hot. Luckily it was nearly Leaf-fall, which meant the sun wasn't as harsh as it usually was. The added bonus is the fact that it's not sunhigh yet.

"Most likely, even the prey don't like being in the sun." Skyleap said. They eventually reach the training grounds and she takes a moment to scent the air for any signs of prey. However, she didn't smell any aside from a bird that was lone gone. Do you smell anything or see any tracks?" She questioned turning to look at her apprentice. Sagepaw might have better luck than her.
(Sorry it's been a while)
