Current Plots
- Main Plot: Two clans in the forest become allies and two cats, Cat A & Cat B, begin to meet each other. Upon meeting each other, they've realized they can take full advantage of the peace between their clans; by doing so, they offer to go on patrols that lead to secret meetings between the two and from there, a relationship sprouts. However, an apprentice/warrior grows suspicious of one of the cats, and decides to do some digging. Things can diverge from here: either one (or both) of the lovers kills the cat who's digging around, or the cat digging around reports the affair to both clan leaders. Either could work out very well, though the former would provide for darker themes.

gorge and reed are done, i still need to do bog and i'm going to add a few more reed cats. as far as bios go:
hollyspring: a bit more on the feisty, adventurous side. would probably go crazier about the whole murder thing and take things too far as she's more "overdramatic" for lack of a better word; maybe "highly emotional" is a better way to put it. could do fxm or fxf, leaning towards fxm.
darkbird: more of your mysterious, intellectual type; definitely would have good banter. smart enough to kill you and get away with it while keeping her cool. could do fxm or fxf.
addertail: pretty angsty, definitely has some issues he's working through. is 100% bound for a stress induced emotional breakdown at some point. little rough around the edges and would take some warming up towards; slow burn. probably hetero.

so my favs out of yours are Hollyspring and Darkbird (tho I do love Addertail and think it'd be fun to have a sub plot with him). here are my two candidates:
Silver-river: somewhat of an aggressive cat. definitely unhappy with his current position in the clan; feels as if he's Twistedstream's shadow. if we went with Silver-river, I'd want to get a mate and kits for Twistedstream. also very intelligent. would be hesitant to form a relationship at first, but would fall quickly after that and think himself and the relationship infallible and not worthy of judgment by other clan members or by StarClan.
Dawncloud: definitely a huge dreamer, tries to only see the best in things. sister Nightrunner thinks that she's naïve, but she's actually very knowledgeable and that has played a huge part in her being such a dreamer. would very quickly fall in to the relationship. amicable and kind, always seeks to help out others. dreams of having a mate and kits.

Dark beings are on the horizon. The sun will rise, but only alongside another star. That was part of the prophecy that had been delivered to both Rookstar and Duckwing nearly six moons ago, and it was only now starting to make sense. When Yewstar, the leader of BogClan, announced that he had taken in a large group of rogues at the Gathering two moons ago, it had come as an extreme shock to both Rookstar and Fadingstar. They had never been the best of friends - seeing as they were both leaders of rival clans - but this had warranted them speaking secretly after the Gathering. As they talked, the toms realized what a threat this could pose to both of their clans. Allegiances had been dwindling for both of them, as it had been a rough leaf-bare for everybody, and neither of their clans would be able to handle attacks from BogClan. But Fadingstar had suggested they wait until the next Gathering to see if they really needed to worry about this, or if Yewstar was just being a kind tom and taking in those who needed help.
Unfortunately, many events transpired in the moon that passed from one Gathering to the next. Fadingstar had been wrong to suggest they wait, even though it had seemed a wise idea at the time. Yewstar took their silence and lack of action as acceptance and placidness, and sent out his new warriors to wreak havoc upon ReedClan and GorgeClan. Rookstar had lost five warriors and an apprentice to battles on the border shared with BogClan. The survivors reported that the battle parties were mainly made up of rogues, usually with one or two experienced warriors leading the attacks. A few days before the next Gathering was to be held, Rookstar made a cover trip into GorgeClan's camp. There, he had sat and spoken with Fadingstar for hours, even calling in his deputy and medicine cat to give their opinions. By the time Rookstar left, it had been decided: the only way to survive the onslaught of attacks from BogClan and their rising power would be to join GorgeClan and ReedClan together.
Rookstar returned to his own camp with unease running throughout his body. Nothing like this had ever been done before, he was sure of it. It seemed wrong and unnatural to have two clans join together to go against the third - everything was set by StarClan to be equal, and joining the clans would off-set that balance. But it had to be done. The only thing making him feel more at ease was that Cloudwing, the GorgeClan medicine cat, had interpreted the prophecy - specifically the part about a sun and star - to mean that this was a necessary move. He explained all this to Duckwing and Elkstride in the privacy of his own den once he had returned.
The two leaders had decided to announce the merging of their clans at a confidential Gathering that excluded BogClan. One night before it was set to take place, Rookstar asked his medicine cat and deputy to accompany him on a walk of their territory. They agreed, and as a group they made their way to the highest point in their territory - High Hill - with the Silverpelt shining above them. They settled quietly on the top of the hill, looking at the stars where their ancestors rested eternally. Rookstar was the first to break the silence. "I wanted to bring you two out here," he began, his voice slightly hoarse with emotion, "before everything changes. I have no idea what will happen in the following moons, or how long this will go on. I am glad to have you two by my side, and, with StarClan guiding our paws, I hope to make it out of this together."
 Duckwing let out a soft, understanding sigh and rested her tail along Rookstar's back. "I trust you and your decisions, Rookstar - and when I don't, I'll let you know." It was meant to be a joke, but it was hard for either of them to find humor with the merging of the clans looming ahead of them. "If it helps, I do agree with Cloudwing's interpretation of the prophecy. We've not always seen eye to eye, but on this, we do. I think the fact the prophecy was delivered to me by a former GorgeClan leader lends even more credence to that interpretation." Rookstar simply nodded. "Let yourself rest this evening, Rookstar, knowing that you have made the right decision."

Though Snakestripe's trust in Fadingstar was strong and he would follow all of his orders without hesitation, the merging of GorgeClan and ReedClan was something that had given him pause. At no point in the history of the three clans had two of them merged; then again, one of the clans had never taken in such a large group of dangerous rogues, as BogClan was doing. Snakestripe wasn't unwelcoming of outsiders - in fact, he had a fairly open mind for that sort of thing - but he was certainly not okay with Yewstar thinking that he could encroach on their territory. Just thinking about it made the fur on the deputy's neck stand up. Even with all of that going on, though, he still wasn't certain that Fadingstar had made the right move.
Snakestripe had gone to Cloudwing with his concerns multiple times already, and the ginger tom had reassured him each time that the correct decision had been made. "The prophecy directly calls for it," he had said. Snakestripe wasn't so sure that was a good enough reason to bring two formerly rival clans together. Part of that, though, was because he wasn't so sure about prophecies in general. He had only spoken to StarClan twice - once when he was made a warrior, and once when he was appointed deputy. Those times had been bland; he had gotten to see his grandfather and uncle, but they hadn't revealed anything exciting to him.
