Sootpaw was getting more and more worried about Bogpaw's cough, deciding that once they were back he wasn't going to allow the tom to leave the medicine den until he was cured. "W-we have to k-keep going." He nudged the other apprentice and squinted in the direction of camp, feeling frightened when he realized that they were still quite a ways from getting there. He considered that maybe the other wasn't going to be able to walk any further and let out a small whimper before moving to press into Bogpaw. Even with his lack of thick fur and body weight, he wanted to do his best to keep the other warm.
"Bogpaw has a bad bite on his leg but I think Sootpaw is okay.." Foggystar also looked around the clanmates and twitched his whiskers. "You and Tawnyleaves. I suggest that you leave immediately and hurry there and back. I don't know how much worse this weather is going to get." He looked up and flattened his ears as a snowflake fell from the sky, followed by many more.
Tawnyleaves looked up at the mention of his name and padded over, looking quizzically at Foggystar and Foxtail. "Is something wrong?"
--
Sandpaw snorted and swatted back at her, though let his ginger paw fall gently onto her ear before he pulled it away. "Fine, but you can't tell anyone and don't try to stop me." He couldn't help but feel a little warmth gather in his chest. He liked knowing that he was cared about by someone in his family, especially since he didn't even know if Crowfeet loved either of them. In fact, it was like she just saw them as two annoying apprentices she had no relation to. Maybe after they went to RiverClan, their father might take an interest in them.

Bogpaw didn't respond for a moment, just wanting to stay were they where and rest, but eventually the panic in the medicine cats voice registered in his brain. Wow, he must be pretty worried. He thought before getting up on shaky legs, trying to figure out how they were going to get back to camp with the snow so high. The dark tom let out a groan as he limped forward before pausing and looking back at Sootpaw once he realized that he wasn't able to make it back without help.
-- Foxtail nodded at Tawnysplash, "Bogpaw is injured and Sootpaw is with him. They need help getting back to camp, according to Foggystar Bogpaw has a nasty bite on his leg and he can't get back on his own." The tortoiseshell explained, flicking her tail in the direction of the camp entrance. "We will be going and finding them." She explained.
-- "I can't tell anyone or stop you if I'm with you," She explained wryly before getting up onto her paws. She might as well get started on their journey, she could go and grab some thyme before they left back for Shadowclan camp. The thyme was right at Riverclans border so that would explain why they had a fishy smell on them when they returned.

Sootpaw quickly moved to join him and let the other lean on him before taking a deep breath. They needed to think of a new strategy or something along those lines because just walking wasn't going to cut it. Jumping was out of the question because of Bogpaw's leg and dragging was just unreasonable. Pulling away from the other, he let out a satisfied noise. "Wait here!" He told Bogpaw before he moved forward straight through the snow, trying to make himself as big as possible. He went quite a ways away before he trotted back, shivering more than he was before. He has cleared a path through the snow that was just barely big enough for them to walk through without struggle. "I'll keep doing this until we get there, okay? That way you won't get any worse."
Tawnyleaves nodded, glancing toward the heavy snowfall. "We better get going now, then, before they get buried." He flicked his ear when a snowflake landed on it and dipped his head to Foggystar before heading for the entrance to camp. He cast a glance back at Foxtail, his eyes expectant.
--
"That's true." Sandpaw meowed, moving to go through the entrance of camp. To anyone who noticed, it likely just appeared as an herb or hunting patrol, seeing as it was two apprentices who couldn't really do much, especially since one was a medicine cat and the other was injured. When he took his first step out of camp, he suddenly became nervous. What if they were rejected by their father? What if he hated them? What if he told the Clan they were there? He gulped and shook his head, deciding that they could always just deal with it. Things would be fine as long as Larkpaw still cared for him.

Bogpaw let out a rough purr in amusement as he watched Sootpaws attempts in making himself bigger, waiting for the tom to return to him. Bogpaw nodded, listening carefully to what the other tom had to say. "B-but y-you are s-s-o c-cold already." He protested, limping forward to the small entrance that Sootpaw created, hoping that they would be able to make it back quickly. He didn't want Sootpaw getting hurt or sick because of him.
"Lets go." Foxtail murmured walking past him with her head held high. She wanted to look confident in this situation, that she believed that the two cats where alright and that they would get to the two on time. She honestly wasn't sure if they would be alright, it was so cold out and she knew how thin Sootpaws coat was.
-- "If we get caught, let me do the talking, alright?" Lark paw muttered as they walked through their own swampy territory. She hoped that their father would greet them as warmly as she was greeted by him. He might not be the happiest cat, with them waltzing into the Riverclan camp. The pale she cat glanced at her brother, waiting for him to follow.

"I'll be f-fine." Sootpaw nodded to Bogpaw and joined him in walked, relieved that it was now easier to walk through the thick snow. "See? We'll b-be there in n-no time." He kept his head low to prevent snowflakes from getting in his eyes and watched his paws, not quite feeling surprised when he noticed that he was leaving the smallest of blood trails from his paw pads, which he knew had been already worn raw and cut up by the icy ground. "That's just great." He sighed, then looked up to see how much longer they had before he'd have to make another path.
Tawnyleaves gave her a nod and followed after her, squinting immediately after they left camp. It looked completely white with just a few specks of colour here and there, two of which he identified as the apprentices. They were quite a ways off, but reachable within a few minutes if he and Foxtail moved fast. "Look." He nudged the deputy and pointed out the cats in the distance. He jumped forward and let himself sink before repeating the action, trying to cover as much ground as he could.
--
Sandpaw just nodded and followed after her, his dark tail swinging low to the ground while snowflakes gathered on it. "What do you think he's like?" He asked once they were out of earshot of camp, his need to talk about it overpowering his will to keep silent. "A great, stoic warrior? A scrawny annoyance?" He looked at Larkpaw, wanting to know if she had just as many questions as he did.

Sootpaw barely heard the words spoken by the other apprentice, his ears pinned to his head to prevent the cold wind from battering the sensitive skin, blocking out most sounds. His eyes narrowed as he attempted to peer through the snow, and in doing so he caught sight of two brightly coloured objects that stood out; no, not objects, but cats! A sigh of relief escaped him and he turned his head to glance at Bogpaw, his eyes no longer holding that shine of worry. "A p-patrol is coming th-this way." He was still shivering, that was for sure, but he felt so much better now that they weren't alone.
--
Tawnyleaves continue his bunny hops through the deep snow, stopping every now and again to check his progress. It was during one of these short pauses when Foxtail asked him a question, and to try and find the answer he swiveled his head, staring at the two apprentices in the snow. "It seems like Bogpaw's limping, but I can't really tell. Sootpaw looks like a half-frozen rat, but I don't see any wounds." He called this back to the deputy, then wiggled his haunches and took another large leap into the snow. It wasn't comfortable to do this, but it was quick and efficient, so he kept on with it.
--
"So... You think he's gonna be fat and lazy?" Sandpaw nearly laughed at his own words while thinking about their father having those qualities, as Crowfeet absolutely despised both of those. He was on his paws pretty much every minute of every day, only getting brief breaks for eating and sleeping. "Crowfeet would never fall in love with a tom like that, he must have at least something redeeming about him." He wrinkled his nose when he finished the sentence, the strong scent of the RiverClan border filling his nose and mouth.
((Sorry these are poorly written, it's been a good while since I roleplayed)

Bogpaw was a little surprised when his question wasn't answered. He glanced over at his friend, noticing that his ears were now pinned back tightly, his body shivering from the cold. He puffed out a small sigh, before his ears twitched at the comment of there being a patrol on their way to get them. The mottled brown tom glanced upwards, narrowing his eyes when he saw the two cats leaping through the snow towards them. He limped a little forward, pressing against the medicine cat apprentice, his burning fur feeling odd against the cold of his friends. "St-stay." He ordered. -- "He has thin fur. I'm not surprised." Foxtail commented, following quickly. The two apprentices looked half dead, but they would be alright if they got to them quick enough. She fluffed out her fur, knowing they'd have to help the two of them get back to camp.
Larkpaw snorted in agreement, knowing that her mother had standards. She just couldn't help but muse on who this cat was, maybe it was why their mother hated lazy cats. Her nose wrinkled in disgust at the scent of Riverclan hit her nose. "I guess you're right. I just can't think of anything redeeming about those fish eaters." She commented grudgingly. (You're doing good!)

Sootpaw flinched a little when he felt something press against him, his large ears finally lifting from his head only to hear the other's order. He obeyed, of course, not that his thin, aching limbs could carry him much further on his own without bucking beneath him and sending him deeper into the snow. He leaned into the warmth of his friend, allowing his eyes to slide closed while exhaustion crashed over him like a wave, once more reminding him that he hadn't slept in a few days. He tried to thank Bogpaw, but all that came out was a mumble of gibberish. -- Tawnyleaves kept his movement quick and smooth, his determination and thick fur preventing him from succumbing to the cold. It wasn't long before he was a tail length or so away and he'd feel nothing but relief, calling out to the two toms, ears perked and tail kinked over his back in excitement. -- Sandpaw snorted in disgust, muttering that he didn't understand how RiverClan dealt with their own scent, he already felt like leaving and they were barely two steps into the territory. He glanced around, a bit surprised because while their own territory was merely frozen, RiverClan was covered in deep snow; maybe it was the cause of lack of trees, he was unsure, but he was certain he didn't want to trek through it. He then noticed a path in the snow, perfect for two cats, and nudged Larkpaw to draw her attention to it.
