Hello, hello. Welcome to my never-ending dilemma of where I can't decide what role-play to do. I go through a vicious cycle of almost completely something, hating it, redoing it, then life goes: hey, I think you need to do something else for a while!
Two of these ideas are almost finished, but the last touches take a lot to finish. Whether that be art, a final edit of things (again, I end up hating what I did and redoing it), or minor edits here and there. If you want more information on the ideas, just ask, I don't mind babbling a bit. I just ask that everyone that reads what I put out avoid being "inspired" by it, if you know what I mean.
I have three ideas to put forth. You have probably seen them before and again, they've changed a lot since I last offered them up. I may be open to making this into a planning page to see what others think, as I'm too critical of what I've done at times.
First Idea: HollyClan POV
HollyClan is technically a three Clan role-play, but to avoid the stress, I condensed it to a POV. The Clans live in a forest with a river and are named after the three significant figures that helped form them into the Clans they are today. Each Clan has been developed, so we know about them as much as what we know about HollyClan.
Second Idea: Stone Valley (Two Clan Role-Play)
Stone Valley is a river valley and it provides a home for the cats of CloverClan and MapleClan. Two sisters that couldn't lead together, they split their groups and became what they are now. Originally a claim-a-cat, I have mostly redone everything. The only concern is that this will be a two Clan role-play but on the condition of it remaining on a page. So you'll have to head your posts and tag to make sure no one gets confused.
Third Idea: MapleClan POV
Before I continue, this MapleClan is a completely different Maple from the one above. There are four Clans and they're named after trees. So, we have MapleClan, CedarClan, WillowClan, and BirchClan. It used to be five, but coming up with five distinct territories, personalities, and avoiding seeming like a rip-off of canon is hard. This role-play is the least complete with it's rework, but one I quite enjoyed. Out of all the ideas, this one would definitely be combed out and pushed onto a planning page. The few faults of this one is that I feel it's too close to HollyClan's ideas and feels. The territory for MapleClan alone is vast and confusing not to mention boring with the comparisons to prior role-plays. It's not the most original because it feels pieced together from prior role-plays and that's honestly a fault of mine because of me copying and pasting from a long list of now overused ideas.
So now, we just wait and see about which one people would prefer. I want to create something that would be accessible to others, but I want to stick with an idea I've loved from the beginning or have grown to love. If you're interested, let me know!
