Mistystar as a young warrior had discovered her destiny soon after she discovered the lake territories and found the fountain of youth. Yet she must keep this sacred place a secret, because if the fountain got into the wrong paws... the clans will be stuck in time. Also she's half unicorn now!

Mistystar's Fate
Prologue Epic StarClan gathering where everyone talks about just how special she truly is.
Chapter 1 Mistystar dies of greencough and joins StarClan in talking about just how special she truly was.
The End
(My real wish for a title about a possible Mistystar SE would still be Mistystar's Salvation which was the working title for Leopardstar's Honor and just sounds cool despite the overly religious meaning.)

Prologue - The book starts with Mistykit's childlike understanding of being led to RiverClan by her mother. It ends with her and Stonekit snuggling into Graypool's fur, and promptly forgetting the whole ordeal.
First few chapters - Mistykit's bonds with her father, her adoptive mother Graypool, and Stonekit are fleshed out. She's apprenticed, which is pretty uneventful. As a new warrior she sparks up a rivalry with the boastful and arrogant Blackclaw, which pushes her to excel in her duties. Silverkit is born and Mistyfoot is elated to have younger kin in the Clan, promising to take her little cousin under her wing. Silverpaw and Mistyfoot bond, and she watches proudly as she gets her warrior name.
Mid-book - Blackclaw begins acting strangely towards Mistyfoot, almost being nice for once. She confronts him, and Blackclaw confesses that as their rivalry progressed he became infatuated with her. Mistyfoot thinks on it and decides that she'd like to have a litter with Blackclaw as he's seemingly turned over a new leaf, and she can't deny that she thinks about him often. Her litter of Pikekit, Primrosekit, Perchkit, and Reedkit is born shortly after. Blackclaw continues to be decent and expresses excitement about his children. Unfortunately, the runt of the litter, Perchkit, grows sick. Mistyfoot and Mudfur desperately try to save him but he passes before his first moon. Mistyfoot confides in Graypool about her grief, as her mother has lost children before. Blackclaw stops visiting the nursery after Perchkit dies, which frustrates Mistyfoot. Stonefur steps in and is like a second father to them.
Mistyfoot's kits drift away in the flood and are saved by Fireheart and Graystripe; they survive. She grows suspicious of Silverstream's relationship with Graystripe and confronts her, but Silverstream shrugs her off. Later, Silverstream dies in childbirth and Mistyfoot pledges that she will protect Featherkit where she failed to protect her mother.
Late-book - Graypool dies, and Mistyfoot and Stonefur mourn. Bluestar is revealed to be their true mother as she dies, shocking the pair. Stonefur is more level-headed about this development, but Mistyfoot feels betrayed. She becomes even closer with Featherpaw now that she knows the truth. TigerClan emerges, and Mistyfoot, Stonefur, and their apprentices are imprisoned. Blackclaw publicly denounces Mistyfoot on the grounds of being half-Clan, both out of genuine resentment and the hopes that Tigerstar will spare his children. Reedpaw, Pikepaw, and Primrosepaw aren't imprisoned, but Tigerstar demands that they be forced to hunt solely for the Clan until they earn their keep, and are forbidden from partaking in normal Clan life (including eating from the fresh-kill pile and visiting the medicine cat). Stonefur is executed and Mistyfoot and their apprentices flee to ThunderClan.
As she stays with ThunderClan for her safety, Mistyfoot agonizes over how her children are faring. She thinks back to Bluestar, and begins to understand her a bit better. Mistyfoot and the apprentices fight in the battle against BloodClan, and she is allowed back into RiverClan and made deputy for her efforts. The first thing she does when she returns home is to seek out her children, but only Reedpaw is alive. He explains to her that Blackclaw tried to help the three to hunt for themselves in secret, but they still grew weak from overexertion; when Pikepaw and Primrosepaw contracted Greencough it was fatal. She vows to never stray from his side again, and to use her status as deputy to heal the division caused by TigerClan.
Epilogue Graphic Novel - Sasha and her kits come to RiverClan. Mistyfoot immediately notices Hawkkit's resemblance to Tigerstar and concludes that they are his kits, but says nothing. Keeping good on her promise to heal heritage-based divisions, Mistyfoot requests to Leopardstar that she mentor Mothpaw. Later at the apprentice ceremony Leopardstar surprisingly announces that Hawkpaw will be her apprentice as well, and Mistyfoot smiles and thinks that RiverClan is healing stronger than it had ever been before.

This is almost word for word what I would do. I would throw in a heartwarming scene with Whitestorm where he reveals that they are kin. It'd make her decision to go back to RiverClan harder. I'd also have it go into TNP a bit to see Reedwhisker become a father. (My headcanon is that he was Emberdawn's mate and fathered Mintfur and Rainstorm.)

It would be about how StarClan gives Mistystar extra lives in exchange for the personalities of RiverClan cats. That’s why RiverClan cats are so forgettable.

Mistystar's Guilt, about 500 pages detailing the terrible deal with some mysterious evil force Mistystar made in order to gain a longer life and how she feels about it. Every RiverClan cat who's mysteriously vanished since Mistystar became leader has had their life force sapped away and given to Mistystar. No surviving cat knows that's it's her fault, yet- but she still feels the weight of her guilt every day. She originally made the deal because she was worried about the peace she wanted for RiverClan being at risk of shattering under a different leader, but by now her motivation has become much different- now she's tired and has realized she can't even keep the peace forever herself when the clans are constantly threatened by horrible dangers, but she is terrified to die and be judged for what she's already done.
