any of you ever watched The Bar (well, El Bar, it’s actually Spanish)? I can’t QUITE call it a horror movie, but it’s technically a horror movie (with a few lovely features such as: - Ebola and a man dying from it
- Fires and someone searing off their palms
- Squeezing through concrete tunnels that are too small
- Opening credits featuring lots of parasites for no apparent reason
- You are contaminated go hang out with the corpse
- The police are EVERYWHERE and yes they actively want to kill you
- You guys the cure obviously doesn’t work he just died in front of you
- Cheesy obvious bits like dropping things in (in)convenient holes in the floor and a forced romance plot
- Also “there are only four doses” because of course
and the least scary part:
- Jesus man chasing people through the sewers with a gun while everyone bleeds all over the place ) watched it the other night with a bunch of people and it was, well, the primary reason for most movies is to be entertaining, so I guess it serves its purpose enough |

gross (emetophobia) last time I threw up was Dec 31, 2014 (after eating a single slice of white vegetable from a plate of both daikon and parsnip slices, which are nearly identical) but wouldn’t you know it, just today I discovered what it feels like for your period to make you throw up (on an empty stomach, no less, so that’s fun)
to add insult to injury, it was immediately after I took 600mg of ibuprofens so now to be safe I can’t take more (limit 800mg at once for maximum adult and I’m not THAT big) BUT they might not even still be in my system 😭
I think I’m feeling a little better now but I’ve also been lying on the floor for ten minutes so we’ll see how I feel when I have to get up
bonus complaint: you know after you walk a few miles and your legs get the good “I Walked and Got Muscles” type of cramps? yeah if you get your period the next day Bad Cramps WILL annex your legs and make you suffer
oh and the funny part for some values of funny: someone walked into the bathroom (where I was throwing up into a toilet) and definitely heard me whispering pathetically to myself things like “Why is this happening?” and “Are you done yet?” |
