had a decent (and cheap I think) cheese danish and heard back from my astronomy professor today (I'm in)--so far so good

-printer set up
-LaCie thingy working great
-laptop cannot handle me trying to open more than about 1500 images at once (comics) so I'll have to really stay on top of the size of updates (I can't open all the comics to see if it's 3145 or 3146, for example)
-I have the demo version of Pixelmator and I'm not 100% certain how it's different
-I know I still have to fix a lot of the comic page thing images (including all the cats)
-I also have more cats to add and I want to be in a position where I'm not expecting additions too soon when I reupload the things
-my mouse, although good, is very different from the ones I have at home, so comics will be more difficult for a while
-the typical sizing might slightly change? by default my laptop makes scanned images MUCH smaller than my computer, but I zoomed in on the sketches...

I think it's really noticeable to me when I find an old sketch that I haven't finished

like okay back then I was less picky about what I considered funny enough for a comic but for the most part

I can still stick the comic onto the next update and it's not immediately obvious that it's so old (unless the art gives it away but usually I don't think it does)

-tape measure (the kind for a body not room length)
-almond butter cups (like peanut butter cups)
-microwaveable macaroni bowls (time to conquer another fear: using the common kitchen microwave)

I want something cold to eat but all I have is refrigerated cheese

it's not great cheese Target really spoiled me 💔 but it's edible and cheap

2/3 of my chickpeas are now gone

I think next time I'll buy like olives or something too

(posted as a response to another thread but here we go because I have Memories now)

me, an intellectual: if you like...jumped at the exact right time going the wrong way at the beginning of the beanie babies guinea pig maze game, you could complete the game in a matter of a few seconds

edit: it's been a really long time (...8 years?) since I played it but I think the gist of it was that you could launch yourself off the starting platform (rather than going up like you were supposed to) and if you timed it just right, you would hit a...star, maybe? that would turn you golden and extra fast, thus allowing you to sail all the way to the end; most of the time taken was just the fall

edit 2: now that I think about it more, it was probably more like the third platform? like I said it's been a long time

edit 3: ALSO there was one game--I don't remember what it was exactly but I feel like it took place in a forest--okay, so the high scores were displayed on the site...not only did I beat the high score, I blew it out of the water...but then after I got to some ridiculous score, all the "bad" things in the game stopped coming, and I was basically just getting points for having the game running, and then suddenly it ended and I didn't get any in game currency and my score wasn't displayed as the high score so I guess I should have ended the game when it started getting weird (I guess it glitched...)

edit 4: BEEHIVE HEIST the game was called beehive heist and it had a green bear
