I voted for Tigerpaw although I also still liked Tigerheart early on in the OotS arc before him and Dovewing started having their overdramatic romance plot. Since then I'm sadly not a fan of his character at all and it only got worse when he became leader for which the writing team made his father Rowanstar look like the the most incompetent fool in comparison just so he was hyped up to be so much better than him instead even more in the storyline. He was entertaining and very likeable as a kit and an apprentice for me though.

Tigerpaw definitely. But I also liked early Tigerheart before the drama

Tigerpaw was precious. I swear his siblings were the same as apprentices too. <3

Tigerpaw. No contest! He just became annoying a a warrior and downright unbearable as a leader.

Tigerpaw, because I liked that he was golden and he was just adorable as an apprentice. I also liked Tigerheart in The Fourth Apprentice, but I hated him in every book afterwards, so I'm just going to go with Tigerpaw because he was cute and innocent and just fun to read about.

I imagine this will be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like him as Tigerstar at the moment.
Don't get me wrong, Tigerstar is a jerk. He's impulsive, brash, and not very diplomatic. Frankly, he has no business being a leader at all. But what endears me to him is how much he resembles the ShadowClan of the first arc - they weren't villains, per se, but they were very uncooperative and prickly at the best of times. Tigerstar fits this to a tee. He's the perfect representative of a group of proud isolationist cats, for better or for worse.
Plus, I just really like how he's a bad leader but an undeniably devoted husband and father. It makes him more interesting to me than a leader who is just generically 'good' in all respects. The narrative of the books also tends to acknowledge his many failings, which is nice in a series that often deifies Clan leaders.

Oh boy. This will piss off a lot of people, and I'm going to give zero craps for it. Here goes nothing! *cracks fingers*
Tigerstar is a good parent and a good clan leader. When he was deputy, he tried to make peace for his clanmates fighting over a rabbit. I think he's a decent mate for Dovewing too. Honestly, the only things I can ever find any fault that he's done toward Dovewing was that he didn't try to run off and look for her when she abandoned him, and the only reason why he stopped looking for her is because he needed to look after his clan. Dovewing was the one who left him, and put him in that position to choose between her and his clan. It's not his fault - he had to pick his clan first. Tbh, Tigerstar as a mate is fine. He learned to treat Dovewing better, and wants to do nothing but protect her. Honestly, he's fine. I don't like how he treats Skyclan and Leafstar, but Tigerstar is a good clanmate, and a good mate for Dovewing. He's willing to protect her from harm, he loves his kits and it shows. He really isn't that bad imo. But that's just me.
Now I don't really care enough of Tigerstar to adore him or anything, I'm neutral, but honestly, he's fine.

And that attitude is fine to have as long as you don't end up "getting butthurt" yourself over someone having a different opinion than you or even disagreeing with you (disliking a character you like or liking a character you dislike for example). After all, Warriors General is a place for discussion, among other things on this forum.

At this point I literally read this series to pass the time honestly. I don't care about the characters anymore except Hollyleaf and maybe Dovewing and Ivypool.

I understand that you are feeling frustrated about how you were treated and you are free in no longer wanting to engage in any more debates with people. But it still makes me sad to see this. Especially the second half of your comment. I really hope you can properly find joy for this series once again one day. Sorry for my reply probably being rather cringeworthy.

At this point I literally read this series to pass the time honestly. I don't care about the characters anymore except Hollyleaf and maybe Dovewing and Ivypool. I can relate pretty heavily to that. Honestly I still read these books simply cause it’s a comfort series I’ve read for 19 years, and quite literally is the series I learned to read on, so carries some fond childhood memories and sentimental value with them. Plus the 1st Prints of each book don’t have enough value to warrant selling them off. With how stilted and flippantly all over the place the world/character consistencies are these days, makes it nearly impossible for me to grow any sense of attachment to any of the new characters they introduce, and they clearly enjoy ruining the old ones so can’t even relay on them anymore either. Still can’t wait for Exile from Shadowclan though, since the Graphic Novels have a certain whimsical charm to them that’s still fun to read.

Tigerpaw. I can't like him now after they purposefully butchered other characters like Bumble and Rowan to make him look good.
