So since there's this new in-between thing where cats wander around without entering StarClan, do you think Hollyleaf should've gone to Limbo instead of StarClan? She killed a cat in cold blood & knew exactly what she was doing. She murdered someone. But at the same time, she learned from it and did her best to serve her place in StarClan until she died. What do you think? Did she deserve StarClan, or do you think she deserved to wander in limbo?

There is no limbo. The "in-between" happened due to the afterlifes being closed off in TBC and...honestly it's never explained in AVOS, no idea what that's about

Hollyleaf deserved StarClan as she learned from her mistake and was loyal to her Clan when she came back and died bravely. It's unfair to stick her in "limbo" or the DF when she clearly made up for it already.

She actually regretted what she'd done and made up for it, so no. She deserved Starclan.
Cats who do deserve a purgatory-esque thing are Onestar, Mudclaw, Needletail, and Juniperclaw - as they weren't necessarily evil to their core, but also did some seriously messed up stuff that isn't Starclan worthy either

They both died heroic deaths just like Hollyleaf. Needletail especially absolutely deserved StarClan. I think it’s very understandable why she turned away from ShadowClan to begin with. Yes it’s not completely ShadowClan’s fault for for assuming she was dead after being carried off but it would still sting.

Unlike some other cats (*stares intently at Needletail and Juniperclaw*) Hollyleaf regretted her actions way before dying a heroic death during the Great Battle. She definitely deserved StarClan (unlike her victim Ashfur).

There is no limbo. The "in-between" happened due to the afterlifes being closed off in TBC and...honestly it's never explained in AVOS, no idea what that's about In AVoS I assumed it was because rogues and loners didn't believe in StarClan or a particular afterlife, so when they died, they just wandered as ghosts before eventually fading. But then Darktail and his rogues showing up in the DF in TBC, and that contradicted my interpretation.

TBC isn’t the problem child here as Darktail and company did not get to the DF by themselves but Ashfur picked up their ghosts and took them to the DF, but this doesn’t explain the AVOS clan cats lingering

I don't think she was that heroic given she only turned because Darktail actively hurt her by killing Rain

I agree that Hollyleaf deserved to go to StarClan, but I don't see how Juniperclaw didn't regret his actions? He died saving two cats, one of which was pregnant, who he wasn't even close to in order to make amends for what he had done.

He died saving two cats, one of which was pregnant, who he wasn't even close to in order to make amends for what he had done. This might be true but his last words were still: "Tell Tigerstar I'm sorry." not maybe "Tell SkyClan I'm sorry." or something like that instead. Which are the cats who could have all died because of his actions when poisoning their fresh-kill pile.
