Breezepelt committed many crimes and knew exactly what he was doing as he was attempting or succeeded in committing them. He was dangerous. Breezepelt was angry and wanted to hurt his own brothers and Crowfeather because of his past. He chose the Dark Forest over the clans, attacking his own Clanmate during the Great Battle and confessing to the Dark Forest that he wanted revenge on Crowfeather. Breezepelt didn't care about the warrior code until after OotS, when his Clanmates began to hate him for what he did in CT. Do you think Breezepelt deserved an execution for the crimes he's almost done (wanting to kill a medicine cat and a pregnant cat) or did he deserve to be exiled or have a second chance?

I'm against execution, no matter what the person has done. It just seems really, really wrong to me and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think he should have been exiled though.

Well, the second chance has paid off nicely since now he’s mended his relationships, proved his dedication to Windclan, has had kits and a happy family with Heathertail, and has defended Crowfeather rather than want to harm him. Execution would make them no better than he had been, and honestly if cats like Blackstar, who stole kits, murdered an elder in cold blood, and killed a starved prisoner gets a second chance, then I’m extending that same chance to Breezepelt. I’ve really enjoyed how he’s changed now that he’s no longer angry about his father’s neglect.

He's also really annoying, constantly trying to either steal someone else's territory or complaining about it. =w= Never liked the guy, never will. But he was one of the best leaders ShadowClan has ever had, and I can't deny that he cares about his clan. I'm just tired of villains committing crimes like these and then getting a reward out of it.

I mean I hardly care about Blackstar at all, never was crazy about him and never really saw him as that great a leader, but I recognize that he’s worked to put his clan first and that he did get a second chance whether he deserved it or not. Breezepelt did change and is a much better cat, he was very empathetic in Daisy’s Kin and I loved that it was clear that he cares deeply for kits, seeing as he has his own by then, and I can tell his anger no longer swamps him because he mended his relationships and Crowfeather finally took responsibility for his neglect, as he should have a looooong time ago. Either everyone should be at least allowed to try a second chance, or nobody should, in my opinion.

Breezepelt deserved a second chance and while his redemption was not entirely to my liking (in the way it seemed so rushed and sudden) I think him being no longer as angry while having created a loving family for himself is also nice to see.

Breezepelt deserved his second chance. Execution is far too cruel and I'd personally be horrified if the Clans started using the death penalty on cats who'd broken the warrior code.

I think he deserved the second chance, especially given he made amends to the best of his ability
I also like that he's still kind of an asshole, so his redemption didn't wipe him of his character
Edited to add: There are cats who have done waaaayyyyy worse than Breezepelt who weren't executed (Tigerstar, Brokenstar). I don't know why they'd execute Breezepelt?
