How do you feel about her behavior and the way she treated Brightheart?

If Bluestar renamed Brightpaw 'Lostface' with a clear state of mind, then I'd dislike her behavior more.

She was not in the right state of mind, so the explanation makes sense. It's still horrible, though.

Bluestar basically decided to name brightheart after her being half blind, which right state of mind or not is a horrible thing to do

It was not her best moment as leader, very cruel and unnecessary

Disgusting behavior. Her mental state at the time does not excuse her.

It was incredibly gross and I don't think that Bluetsra being in a bad state of mind should excuse that. It's more of an explanation rather than an excuse.

I don't think Bluestar's behavior towards Brightheart was in any shape or form justified. I understand Bluestar was badly shaken by Tigerclaw's betrayal and lost faith in StarClan, but taking her anger out on a cat who was nearly mauled to death as a direct result of her own actions was incredibly cruel. What's worse is that she was more than capable of carrying out clan duties (leading border patrols, attending gatherings, calling meetings, etc.) so it wasn't like she was completely insane when she performed the ceremony. This is coming from someone who loves Bluestar's character arc.

I don't blame her too hard. She was severely mentally ill, and would have never done that had she not been sick.
Was it still cruel? Yes. I feel bad for Brightheart in that scene. But I don't fully blame Bluestar for it either

I dislike Bluestar to begin with. So I think the Brightheart thing is unforgivable.
