I've been really wanting to rp lately, and I'm currently flirting with the idea of setting up a new clan but I kind of want to just hop into some role-play... if that makes any sense at all.
I'm the queen of poofiness - I swear, but I should be having a big chunk of free-time coming to me and I'm starting to get on the right track with my mental health ( i know, all things you all needed to know ;-; ) so I really want to attempt to become more active again.
I kind of wanted to rp some kitty-pets coming into a clan, I thought that could be fun? has she read "Into the Wild" one to many times? maybe. and now i apparently talk about myself in third person. Most of all I just want to relax and make some more friends, so lets have fun - I will quit talking now, I promise!
[[ Feel free to share your clans too, if you think I might be a good fit... if you want! ^^' ]] The coniferous covered mountains seemed to call to Link as he sat on a wide, flat rock in the small patch of grass that sat between the forest and the fence of the neighborhood he lived in. Eagerness flared in his green eyes, his white-tipped tail twitching back and forth behind him. The wilderness had always held some sort of majesty to the young tom - a sort of grandness that couldn't be put into words. He'd always been a curious one, as his mother teased. He'd caught fresh scents of cats, though they didn't smell like any felines he'd met. Carefully rising to his paws, the tom hopped down from the rock and took a few steps closer, the crisp pine scent almost stinging his nose.

A white Persian tom stood right at the bottom of his fence, hesitant to move any farther. Although he was tempted by the scent of the wilderness that he had yet to explore, fear burned in his chest. He wasn't much of an explorer since he was a kit and had fallen into the comfort of his Twolegs' nest. He was fed at every meal, doted on a younger Twoleg, and had a decent amount of playtime.
Recently, things felt different. He wasn't receiving as much attention as he was before. It was like his Twolegs were too busy to pay attention to him. This annoyed Orion to the point he began wandering outside of his Twolegs' nest. He had found some interesting things like the patch of grass that led to a coniferous forest. He had also discovered that the temptation to explore was too compelling. He was certain that he wanted to wander past the trees, but the sight of another cat had caught his eyes; who was that and what was he doing here?
Armed with confidence and naivete, Orion traipsed across the grass patch and reached the flat rock. He couldn't see the other cat anymore, but he did catch a scent that unfamiliar. Abruptly, he meowed, "Are you looking to go into the forest?"

The uneven ground and creeping undergrowth was a bit intimidating, causing the pale gray tom to pause at the very edge of the forest. Looming pine trees arched above high above his head, nearly blocking out the powder blue sky. The autumn sunlight was already colder than it had been a few weeks before. Link attempted to fluff up his coat against the breeze, releasing an unsure hum as the brush rustled off to the left. There could be any sort of wild animals out there, his mother had often warned him against straying beyond the garden. 'Carrying all sorts of illnesses,' she'd warned, her nose wrinkled up in disgust. A snort escaped Link, his mother didn't even go outside into her garden anymore. Too afraid after her last encounter with a spider.
"Are you looking to go into the forest?"
The sudden voice startled the young tom out of his thoughts and he quickly turned, his gaze searching for the source. He spotted a tuft of white fur around the top of the rock and retraced his steps, stopping when he had full view of the Persian cat. "Oh - um, I was thinking about it. Have you ever been?" Link asked, taking another glance at the shadowed hills. "I thought I smelled some other cats out there," he admitted thoughtfully, lifting a paw and nudging it in the general direction. Though, upon taking a second sniff, the new cat didn't have that same woodsy scent.

A tortoiseshell she-cat trotted beside the fence lost in her own thoughts with the plan to adventure. As she turned the corner she spotted two toms talking and she stopped her pace, trying to listen, all she could hear was, “are you looking to go in the forest?” She immediately became interested, she wasn’t a kitty pet, but a cat who lived in the neighborhood and was able to get twolegs to give her food. She did rely on herself as well, so she thought it might be fun to go on an expedition with the two toms. She quietly padded over to them, trying not to startle them. “I heard something about the forest?” She asked nicely.

A orange and ginger tabby tom paces impatiently near the entrance of camp. He looks over to see his mentor talking with his mate. Ever since she announced that they were expecting his mentor Riverfoot had started spending as much time as possible with her. He found the two rather nauseating and wondered why his mentor had to act like that. Flamepaw was eager to get out there and hunt! He had been an apprentice for at least a moon and looked forward to just about everything mainly patrols. Flamepaw liked to pretend that he was keeping the clan safe from vicious beasts and dangerous rogues!

Before the tom could get a response from the newcomer, another feline had padded into sight. Her tortoiseshell coat instantly caught his eye, seeing as it was a stark contrast from the faded green grass and the warm wood-toned fence. Curiosity mingled with unease, one stranger was one thing but two... Still, he'd been raised with manners. "Yeah, um, we were just talking about it. I've never been inside," Link admitted, forcing himself to sit back on his haunches. "My mother told me it was dangerous... but I don't really understand why. The trees look so pretty," he said, almost more to himself, before showing off a sheepish smile. Great, now he sounded like a loon.
- - - Stepping lightly across the pine nettles, a white and cream molly carefully made her way across the clearing towards the camp entrance. She had two other warriors on her heels and her own apprentice, as they were heading out for a much needed border patrol. The fresh-kill pile was looking a bit pathetic as well but there were already three hunting patrols out. Hopefully one of them - if not all, StarClan willing - would be successful. Leaf-fall was truly in full-swing and prey was becoming more scarce by the day.
Those dark green eyes landed on the aptly named Flamepaw as he paced back and forth before the opening in the thistles, clearly agitated. She followed the younger feline's gaze to his mentor and shook her head with a fond sigh. Young love. "Flamepaw, you're going to put a divot in the camp floor. Join my patrol," Lilyscar ordered, her harsh, scratchy voice softened with humor. The scar for which she got her suffix was large and gruesome, right across her throat. Her voice had never been the same. Without waiting for a response, she brushed past the apprentice and out into the forest.

The tortoiseshell she-cat seen the sheepish smile the Tom made as he looked into the forest after he spoke, “I’ve heard the same thing, but hey there’s three of us!” She exclaimed, trying to convince the two toms to want to venture into the forest with her. It can’t be that dangerous, can it? she thought to herself. She sat next to the Tom, and before he could say anything else she said to him, “oh by the way, my name is Rain.” She couldn’t help but smile, she hadn’t talked to anyone pleasant in what felt like moons.

Flamepaw jumped when he heard his name being called and turned to see Lilyscar looking expectantly at him. "S-Sure!" He said as he straightened himself up. He didn't know Lilyscar very well but knew not to cross her. Truthfully, despite being intimidated by her, Flamepaw thought she was really cool! He wasn't sure where they were going but he trusted Lilyscar to know.
