I feel like that was the only thing that could make Warrior Cats having a tv series, since its uncertain if such thing would be possible. I was chilling on youtube and i found by chance their first video, the opening. I was hit by nostalgia, and i realised how their dream would most likely not come true.
Bok Bok Choy is keeping a potential show alive, but even if how great it is, its just a parody of the books. It doesnt have the same effect like the books, but makes us laugh.
Would you want Warriors to have a tv series? Honestly, I do, since is better then a movie.

Yup! I remember when SSS first came out and everyone(myself included)thought it was the absolute PINNACLE of Warriors animation(and to be fair I think it's still awesome to this day).
As for a Warriors TV series, I'm just very neutral about the idea. I don't really want one, but I wouldn't be against one, either.

Of course I remember, what do you take me for? Joking aside, those episodes seemed so insane to me as a kid in terms of quality, the animation looked so amazing… and it still does, but there’s so many Warriors projects on YouTube now with amazing animation quality, it really shows how far we’ve come, and how spoiled we are with so my h good content.

sss is so nostalgic and does hold up p well
i think the main issue with airing a tv show or making a movie is finding an audience. this is a book series about political drama and cats murdering each other in pretty brutal fashion. i feel like its been shown that live action/cgi doesnt look too great for these types of projects, but 2d animation usually discourages adults from watching, and giving actual visuals to the content of warriors would make it way too extreme for little kids. the nature of its content kinda forces it into purgatory lol.

I’m wondering if recent animations like Avatar or The bad batch might have changed the thinking on that.

I think I've never seen all the episodes, but I do remember watching some of them. They're also the reason why I still imagine Longtail as cream with black stripes. The design just stuck with me.

Star Wars the Clone Wars was a pretty violent cartoon and yet nobody seemed to report about it. It could be aired to adult swim if it would be so violent

Star Wars the Clone Wars was a pretty violent cartoon and yet nobody seemed to report about it. It could be aired to adult swim if it would be so violent tcw did not have furry animals goring each other. star wars also managed to catch a teen and up audience due to being based on a popular franchise. warriors doesnt have anywhere near that level of popularity. the political drama and violence would turn away kids and the fuzzy animals would probably put a poor first impression on adults (who may be too busy to invest time in something they think they wouldnt like)

like i wanna be clear i dont think its impossible (theres certainly hype for wcanimated) its just something that needs a very specific audience. itd be more suited for some exclusive release in a mini series, but a full length tv show or movie would be too much imo.

SSS is how I got into Warriors and I love it so much! Longtail, Tigerclaw, and Ravenpaw's designs are so iconic to me that I still visualize them looking like they did in the series. As someone who grew up on the early 2010s internet, SSS and all those early animators kept me interested in the series and art and animation in general.
