I've never seen Cinderpelt ever truly hated before. Everyone loves her, and there's very few people who dislike her, but does anyone here actually despise Cinderpelt? And I'm not talking about the reincarnation thing, but Cinderpelt as a character before Cinderheart ever existed.

Ah, back in the day Cinderpelt got quite a bit chunk of hate, Sandstorm too. You'd probably be surprised to know that out of the three, it was Spottedleaf that was the most favored and popular. But obviously now, years later, that has flipped.

I’ve never seen anyone express any hatred for her . Seen quite a few that are indifferent/neutral about Cinderpelt , but no hate , and honestly she’s a pretty solid character , and Can’t wait for her Plushie to get out onto the store , cause I’m definitely getting 1 , hmmmmm maybe Ivypool as well dependent on how well she’s designed , but probably not leafpool . Leafpool's fine. She made a few mistakes in her life, grew up and matured and remained committed to her clan, dying a loyal death. She was ambitious, caring, patient but stern at times, and not afraid to stand up for herself either. She isn't as great as some of the other characters, but her story is fine.

It was a book that didn't need to exist, but it's fine. I hope they make Leafpool's plushie well because Squirrelflight's was a little odd with her markings.

think you misunderstood my post , was referring to Leafpools plush that’s coming out in December , not her character , I actually like leafpool (aside from Leafpools wish, but that books flaming diarrhea imo) I'm like one of the few people who enjoyed Leafpool's Wish. It was a book that didn't need to exist, but it's fine. I hope they make Leafpool's plushie well because Squirrelflight's was a little odd with her markings. agreed , while I’m probably one of the few that enjoyed her PoVs back in TNP , but then TNP is my second favorite arc , only topped by the First series of course . And yeah the markings on Squirrelflight are little odd , and wish they’d put more effort/flair into her tail, but still want one if they ever restock . And Leafpools color palette is just not really for me , as brown isn’t a color I like very much, but of course they might do something radiant enough with it to change my mind, there not exactly cheap , so they need to meet my standards . And far as Leafpools wish goes I mean I suppose it makes for a decent Short story to read to your young child just starting to read for the first time for teaching purposes . But from a warrior fans standpoint , I personally find the book completely unnecessary, and was blatantly written in order to Garnish sympathy , and attempt to make Squirrelflights actions seem more honorable to sway the community’s opinion on to be more favorable , given the backlash that her popularity received following the fire scene in long shadows , and everything surrounding the whole ordeal , of course that’s my opinion . But what boils me much worse , is the inexplicable reasoning they gave for how they were even able to cover the secret up from the beginning , and how everyone’s common sense and intelligence was dumbed down so much to make it so they didn’t notice . I mean there explanation is so overwhelmingly Cartoonish , and childish that even many 8-10 year olds , which is supposed to be the targeted audience, would probably be seriously questioning the sense behind it , I mean you expect me to believe that Brambleclaw just wasn’t aware that Squirrelflight wasn’t pregnant ? That an experienced queen at least didn’t detect the pheromonal/scent changes coming from leafpool and connect the dots for over a whole moon ? I mean sure this series is geared towards a younger audience , but there’s no way in hell your gonna convince me that anyone is crazy enough to believe “ oh yeah , that totally makes sense , I could see that happening’ It’s mind-boggling and I would even consider it an insult to your readers , but again that’s my opinion, feel free to share your take/opinions on it , I’d love to hear them , though it might be going off topic on this thread .
