The subject of possessions was such a focused on matter in The Broken Code starting off with Ashfur taking over Bramblestar's body at the end of Lost Stars up until the end of Darkness Within. But it also continued on to be discussed by other Dark Forest cats in The Place of No Stars (Mapleshade and Silverhawk) and A Light in the Mist (Darkstripe, Maggotttail, Redwillow, Sparrowfeather). Even at least one other StarClan cat besides Ashfur temporarily took over another living cat's body to help him get out of a rather hopeless situation (Firestar helping Rootspring escape his DF guards).
So with that in mind I really think further possessions might take place in the new arc A Starless Clan. The Dark Forest seems to have been restabilized at the end of ALitM and quite a few cats are still said to roam around in it so the possibilities for something like this to happen again are likely with how much it has been discussed in recent books. Perhaps Frostpaw or Finchpaw will be the ones to go through such an ordeal. Another thing is how a few StarClan cats have been mentioned to look unsatisfied with a certain outcome which could also serve as an indication for future plots involving more possessions.

I suppose I should agree with you. Everything is so messy in the last time so every new concept is possible now

I think ALITM implies that all StarClan cats have the power to possess the living to a certain extent. They might have used it to communicate signs, and it could be potentially linked to reincarnation.
Which makes it all the more important to decide who gets into StarClan, as their power can and has been grossly misused. It may be something that is possible, but frowned upon unless in extreme circumstances.
