How do you feel about her behavior about it? She was really disrespectful to Cinderpelt, and ran off to be with Crowfeather and got pregnant. She only came back because StarClan told her to, and when she returned, Leafpool asked Squirrelflight to keep the kits, lie to Brambleclaw and the rest of her clan. After they were born, Squirrelflight pretended to be their mother, and when Hollyleaf found out the truth, Leafpool and Squirrelflight asked to keep this a secret. Hollyleaf threatened to kill Leafpool and actually did end up killing Ashfur. She ran away into the tunnels. When she returned, she and Leafpool made amends with each other.
Leafpool helped cats outside the clans, and stood up against StarClan about her code-breaking. Since then she hasn't regretted having her kits, and died a loyal death.
How do you feel about her choices? Do you think she handled things fine, or should she have handled things differently?

putting my bias aside, leafpool in TNP was a bit rude at times. i always saw it as she never got to be selfish in her entire life, and the one time she allowed herself to put her wants first, it ends in disaster. so afterward, she spends the rest of her life putting all the blame and burdens on herself to make up for it.
both leafpool and squirrelflight should have come up with a better plan than what happened...i'll always believe that things wouldnt have been super awful if they just told firestar and firestar worked with the clan to accept leafpool and her kits. ever since leafpool's return at the end of twilight, she has stayed loyal ever since, so why would giving birth to the kits 3 moons after that make her any different? the clan would be fools to be jerks to her.

I don't mind her choices. Everyone can make mistakes. But I don't really like her behavior about it. I get that she had a hard time, but there were other cats that suffered more for her mistakes than her, and were a lot less emotional about it.

Her choices were fine imo. She was scared that if she came out with the truth about her having kits then something bad would happen to her and her kits since recently Mousefur and some of the other Thunderclan cats were complaining that Thunderclan was bringing in too many outside cats (or something like that). She also broke two rules so she thought that it would cause even more drama. Giving her kits to Squrrielflight was a good choice cause they wouldn't have been made fun of and can live a normal warrior life. If Leafpool lied that she found them in the snow Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf would have probably been made fun of while growing up because they weren't "pureblood" or "don't have Thunderclan blood in them". Once the truth came out Leafpool stepped down from being a medicine cat and became a warrior as a "punishment". Her being sad all the time made sense. She thought that giving her kits a better life would be good but it backfired. Her own kits hate her and she thinks that one of them is dead, she thinks Crowfeather hates her, her own clan don't act like how they use to act around her, she ruined Squrrielflight and Brambleclaw's relationship. She blames herself for everything. So over all her behavior makes sense as a whole.
