I had to google what this is. The texture looks gnarly. It looks like someone ate a bunch of corn and then vomited it up.

Creamed corn is the best ingredient in making chicken and creamed corn soup. That thicker consistency of the creamed corn gives the soup flavour. You then add corn kernels in and you have a lovely soup... though maybe it's just the Chinese that does this...? The only reason why I like creamed corn is for my soup.

My sister's husband's grandmother uses creamed corn in corn pudding
