Volethorn flicked his tail as the vole he had been going for got away. He shook out his messy fur. There would be other chances. He looked to Crowflight briefly before sniffing at the air. "Should we move on?"

Iriscry nodded at her words. We will need kits eventually, after Cedarsong if we might not have anyone to be a medicine cat. She thought to herself. Granted that would be moons away, but the thought the clan might be in future danger didn't sit right with her. "I see," she said with a nod, she hoped that Turtlepool still had more moons in her to come. FLicking her tail over her paws as she thought looking around the camp. Turtlepool lay watching Iriscry. Wondering what she was thinking. "This may be too personal. But before the ban on kits had you thought of having your own?" (I imagine that Turtlepool had a mate and kits at one point but I don't know what their names are or if any would still be in the clan. Maybe they all died in the fire and thats why she gets snappy.) ) |

Willowpaw nodded and crossed the fence putting them back inside camp. They were much closer to the mourning cats now. As they came in behind the Medicine Den. She smiled at Meadowpaw.

Meadowpaw returned the smile, "Thank you, it felt good to get out of the camp." He shuffled his paws nervously, not sure what else to say. It seemed like Willowpaw was his first friend in the clan, and he felt like the other clan cats resented him for being the last kit to be born.

Willowpaw purred. "Of course. I don't usually leave without my mentor or a patrol so it was fun experiencing the outside world with a friend instead." Willowpaw felt a little distance from the clan because she had originally been a loner. She also wanted to get close to an older female to replace her mother who abandoned her as soon as she turned 6 moons.

Willowpaw nodded. He sat down next to her friend quietly. The two could sit vigil together while they waited for their mentors. Though from the looks of it Meadowpaw's mentor would stay by his own mentor's body until the elders carried it to the Moontree.

I would love to have an older apprentice that my cat Willowpaw could one day be mates with. I have a couple litters of kits I would like her to have one day. As for ranks that need filled basically just warriors young or old or older apprentices. No kits or queens since kits are banned. I'd also love to have former apprentices for my elders.) |

The first litter of kits is a calico she-cat and dark grey she-cat and the other litter is all grey cats. But Willowpaw is a calico I think with grey patches??) Edit to add a short description of Willowpaw Willowpaw(tuft)- 6 moons. Calico she-cat muddied with gray patches and green eyes. She is a bright caring cat who is gentle.) |

Apprentice Birchpaw (Nose): 10 moons . His pelt is a mixture of medium-gray and black hues, that gradually turns to light gray at his ears and muzzle. He has bright yellow eyes. He has a small niche in his right ear. Birchpaw is a ambitious and doesn't like to give up. He has big dreams of becoming the best fighter in the clan. He has good intentions, but allows his pride and ego to guide his actions. He is competitive and tries to one up his clanmates or himself. He is bisexual but is currently unaware of it. His attraction to toms confuses and scares him. Birchpaw earned the niche in ear when he and a clanmate were play fighting. Open to family, friends, rivals ect Hawky2581 (Your tag without the @) Elder Lizardtail (suffix for apprentice and kits only): 99 moons. Lizardtail is a classic brown tabby with hazel colored eyes. He is skinny looking and has a couple of old scars on his legs, back and chest. He is a grumpy and outspoken tom. He doesn't like to be bothered especially if he is sleeping. Depending on his mood, he is nice to some cats and snappy to others. He is fixed on traditional values and dislikes change. In his mind, he can still fight and tries to leave camp to go hunting. Secretly, he misses having kits and hopes the ban is lifted soon. In his prime, Lizardtail was an exceptional fighter and tracker. He eventually end up in the elder's den due to a bad fall and being unable to keep up with his clanmates in patrols. Do you have people assigned to rp their kits already or could I claim one too? ^^ I’ll go ahead and post the wips of two apprentices here. I’ll make some adult cats later on too. All my characters are open for romance, family, friends and drama 😝) Cloudpaw (Cloudbreeze) - 9 moons A mainly white she-cat with striped tabby splashes of blue gray all over her body. Her fur is medium to long, making her look fluffy. She has small tufts of fur on her eartips. Her eyes are a sky blue color. Cloudpaw is very outgoing and chatty. She just can't seem to shut up sometimes, especially in situations where she feels uncomfortable. She's independent and she likes to do things her way, though she has a hard time processing when things don't work out the way she intended. In her free time Cloudpaw likes to roam around the territory, letting her adventurous spirit lead her to interesting places. Cloudpaw is clanborn, her brother is Ripplepaw. Jademist (jademist) Ripplepaw (Ripplemist) - 9 moons A large and sturdy built blue gray tom with soft striped tabby markings and medium to long fur. The fur on his chest and neck is a little thicker and he has lighter markings around his eyes. Ripplepaw’s belly, chest and muzzle are white with soft gray faded along the borders. His nose has a white dash and his eyes are pale blue. Ripplepaw is a rather large tom for his age. He is still growing into his size and not really used to his body yet, so he looks and acts somewhat clumsy. While his size could make him come across as intimidating, Ripplepaw is actually a big teddy bear. He is gentle and he shies away from conflict. When faced with a problem he’d rather use his creative thinking to solve it than brute force or harsh words. However, this makes him somewhat of a pushover and he really needs to learn how to stand his ground. Ripplepaw is clanborn, his sister is Cloudpaw. Jademist (jademist) |

"I think if the cat was close to starclan they can find their way before their body is moved to the Moontree. I do think that it helps to bury their body there to help them find it easier." He paused and sniffed the air and found it clear of any scents of prey or danger. "I feel like Briarleaf's soul knows the path to starclan well by now and she is watching us from Silverpelt. I think I would need to be buried at the Moontree to be able to find where I was going." |

Cloudpaw was sitting with her legs tucked under her in front of one of the cabins. She'd slept bad last night and so she had been snoozing to make up for the lost energy. With a half open blue eye she glanced across camp, she could just catch a glimpse of Meadowpaw and Willowpaw returning from.. well somewhere. Outside camp. That tickled her curiousity. With a quick stretch she perked up. "Oh! Did they go on a trip without us?" She asked half-jokingly. "Let's head over and ask them what they've been up to." She didn't really wait aroud for Ripplepaw to answer before she trotted towards the duo.
Ripplepaw had been watching the cats mourn Briarleaf in the middle of the camp while he quietly sat next to Cloudpaw. He hadn't been particularly close to Briarleaf but nonetheless, the event of her death and seeing all his clanmembers being sad had formed a knot in his stomach. His train of thoughts was suddenly derailed as Cloudpaw spoke up - which happened all the time. They didn't really know Meadowpaw and Willowpaw that well yet but his sister didn't seem to care. She would talk to anything with a heartbeat. He shrugged and padded after the white and gray she-cat. Having a friendly chat would be nice to lighten the mood.

Willowpaw was sitting watching as Cedarsong mourned his mentor and wondered what it was like to be in that muvh pain. SHe turnd and saw that CLoudpaw and Ripplepaw were headed over. She sat up striaghter and flicked her tail in greeting. She hadn't even been there a moon yet and she was surprised that she remembered the siblings names. She wondered what they thought of Briarleaf dying and wondered also if they had seen her and Medowpaw take a walk around the outer edge of camp. She wondered if thy would get her in trouble for leaving camp without a warrior.

"Hey guys!" Cloudpaw greeted the pair as she walked up to them. She sat down near the apprentices and curled her fluffy tail over her paws. "How's it going?" She looked from Meadowpaw to Willowpaw, eager to hear where they went off to before. But first she'd make some small talk to get everyone at ease. They hadn't really taken the time to sit down and get to know eachother yet with everything going on so it was nice to have this opportunity right now.
Ripplepaw greeted the other apprentices with a meow and settled down near them. He wondered what Willowpaw thought of all this, being from outside the clan it had to be a lot to take in for her. And well, Meadowpaw surely had to have mixed feelings about Briarleaf's death. He glanced at them through a thoughful blue gaze.

Birchpaw watches Cedarsong mourns his mentor and shuffles his feet feeling a little awkward. He never knew what to say or do when a cat was sad or upset about something. He would miss Briarleaf considering she has taken care of him a few times. Birchpaw looks up at the sky wondering if the former medicine cat was looking down at them.
Lizardtail lets out a small sigh and hopes that Briarleaf was happier now. He liked Cedarsong well enough and knew the clan would be in good paws. He had always hoped he would die in battle and he still hoped that would still happen.
