Crowflight nodded to Sootwing. "Do you think he will let them stay? Who will take care of them til they are apprenticed?" He asked as he had already decidedly created a bond with the kits.
Frostflower lay quietly next to Brackenheart on the porch of the elders cabin. She had tears in her eyes as she was still not over the death of Briarleaf.

Hawkstar gives him a flick of his tail. "That is all and I would like to meet these kits once they have been checked out and settled in." He wanted to size them up for himself. Hawkstar would need to let the clan know, he hoped none of them would be getting any ideas.

Sootwing shuffled his paws, pondering on his brother's question. "I'm not sure.." He didn't want to be openly critical of Hawkstar's leadership. However, with the kitten ban there were no queens around to take care of these two and it would probably be good for the clans continuity to have new blood. He could see Crowflight had already become quite fond of them. "If they were to stay I think you'd be the best fit to take care of them." He meowed finally, glancing over at the little bundles. "But we'll have to see what Hawkstar says first." He didn't want his brother to be dissappointed if Hawkstar decided they had to go - which had a fair chance of happening.

Cedarsong gave a nod to him. "Alright," he said. "I'll make sure to let you know when the kits are ready." He headed out if the den and towards his own. Jumping up past a few steps, and slipping inside the den. He l99ked to the two warriors with the kits. "So I have some good news," he said to them. "He is allowing for them to stay."

Sootwing flicked his tail at Cedarsong's words, hardly able to hide his disbelief. He could've sworn Hawkstar wouldn't want any kits around. Though, a great warrior and leader should follow the warrior code and so Hawkstar did. "Really?" He glanced over at the kits, first at Doe and then at Fawn. At least one of them would be jumping with joy a this news, and Crowflight of course.

Sootwing looked over expectantly from Crowflight at Cedarsong, hoping the medicine cat knew the answer to Crowflight’s question. He hadn’t seen his brother this excited in moons. Besides, he felt rather excited himself. Maybe this would be his chance at finally being able to train his own apprentice. A dream he didn’t know he had but now that a possible opportunity had arisen it made hope burn inside of him. There was no greater honor than to train Cinderclan’s future warriors.

After some time, Hawkstar rises to his paws and stretches his limbs. He wanted to see these kits for himself. Maybe having these two kits will make some of his clanmates happy. Hawkstar leaves his den and heads towards the medicine cat den.

Cedarsong-Medicine Cat Den- Kits, Hawkstar
Cedarsong's ears perked at the approaching pastels. The tom heading over to the entrance and blinked to see Hawkstar. "Hello," he said with a wave of his tail, moving aside to allow the other cat into the space. "Can I help you with anything else?" He watched the other cat quietly as he waited, maybe there was more to discuss on the matter, or something else had brought the cat out to the den, but with the subject they had discussed, he had a feeling why he was here.

"I want to see these kits." Hawkstar said looking around. "I assumed they would be here unless I was mistaken?" Hawkstar questioned turning his gaze to look at Cedarsong. He appeared to be indifferent but interally he felt uneasiness.

He gave a nod to him. "They are ehere," he said gesturing with his tail. He lead the leader through the cabin and over to where the kits were. "Here they are Hawkstar." He watched the leader cautiously in case he had any ill intentions towards the kits.

Fawn perked up as she heard a new voice enter the cabin. She looked up and smiled wide at the new cat. "Hello" she said brightly.
Doe meanwhile turned and looked the newcomer up and down before closing her eyes. She then opened the and asked "who are you?"

Hawkstar sizes up the two kits not seeing them as much of a threat. He tilts his head before taking a small step towards him. "My name is Hawkstar and I am the leader of Cinderclan. What are your names?"

Fawn did a little happy hop and then sat down. "Hello Hawkstar, my name is Fawn and this is my sister, Doe." She said. She was so happy to meet this new cat but she seemed to catch a vibe that he was grumpier than Sootwing and the others so she didn't rub against him.
Doe flashed a fake smile as Fawn introduced her. "Hello" she said in a flat voice.

Hawkstar stares at them for a bit before allowing his body to relax a little. "It's nice to meet you both. Seems fate has led you to Cinderclan. Has anyone told you what a clan is and what we do?" He asked unsure of how much the kits were told.
