i dislike her. she's not some "soft" person who can't fight or defend herself. idk why people act like she's excused for what she did. she bullied her brother and acted like a brat, then went out of her way to execute the horrible raid. idc if it was a clan leader's order. she still got what she deserved from hawkheart...i have zero sympathy for moonflower. she's awful.

Terrible sister, don't have much sympathy for her in the Hawkheart incident.

She's a bad sister, yes, but I actually do pity her for dying.

My least favorite character. I agree with Briar about her not being some soft and fragile character, she started to take a badger on by herself when she was an apprentice. Though, I did like her a little in Snowfur Speaks.

I think people overexaggerate how she treated Goosefeather, I read the novella wondering if she really is some spawn of satan like people make her out to be, but she wasn't. And if anything I found Goosefeather more unlikable, he was arrogant and idiotic, especially because of the pedestal his clanmates put him on. While Moonflower was annoyed that he was overly clingy and socially inept.
I'm pretty sure it's because people don't like her in the novella that they excuse or justify Hawkheart murdering her in Bluestar's SE. Which I personally think is a bit nonsensical, I don't think not being a perfect sister is a killable offense, and if I'm being honest here, in my opinion, Goosefeather also seemed at fault for her death as well.

Dislike. I find Moonflower to be kind of a brat.

Heavy Dislike.
It’s been a long time since I’ve read Bluestar’s Prophecy but I don’t blame Hawkheart for killing Moonflower. I do think he was absolutely wrong being mean to Bluestar about Moonflower’s murder; but I consider what TC and Moonflower did in that book to be a terrible war crime. While two wrongs don’t make a right, I might’ve killed (or at least severely injured) Moonflower if I discovered she put all my Clanmates in peril by destroying all my life-saving herbs.
It’s also been a while since I’ve read Goosefeather’s Curse, but from what I remember Moonflower was emotionally neglectful towards him, and crossed the line into emotional abuse several times. Didn’t she call him not normal to his face? Or complain that she was embarrassed he wasn’t like the other apprentices? And didn’t her precious crush literally put Goosefeather in danger, and she didn’t believe Goosefeather, and defended the cat who almost caused her brother to die? Typing all this, I should probably re-read GC soon.
I know Goosefeather didn’t have hallucinations or delusions, Starclan and the curse was real, but I feel to other cats who were ignorant of his curse, it could appear that Goosefeather had a mental illness such as schizophrenia. Which is part of why I’m angry at how unsupportive Moonflower was towards Goosefeather. I don’t have schizophrenia, but I have PTSD and Autism Spectrum Disorder and I have been bullied and mistreated for “being different”, so Goosefeather’s Curse (and Moonflower’s behavior during that novella) was hard to read.
I might feel closer to “neutral” on Moonflower if it wasn’t for Goosefeather’s Curse existing.

She was a generic mom in Bluestarʼs Prophecy and horrible in Goosefeatherʼs Curse. She bullied her brother because he was “weird” and sided with Stormtail, who she had a crush on since she was a KIT. I honestly didn't care when she died.

I feel like I'm the only one who isn't that bothered by Moonflower's bullying. I don't like how she treated him, but she really wasn't that bad. If anything, I find Goosefeather's actions more disturbing when he wanted ThunderClan to fight WindClan, and didn't even care that she died lol. I know he had some weird problem going on with him, but he treated kits like crap, didn't care that his own sister died, was lazy with his job, and had many other issues. Moonflower's treatment is not that bad compared to his with others and his own responsibilities. Not that I'm excusing her, but I don't think he's any more innocent here.

I just really have a lot of disdain for Moonflower (and her brother Goosefeather as well).
