You approach the shady corner of the room, the table laced in draperies and covered in boxes.
Game boxes.
You look them over and say, "Wow ... er ... what are these?"
A shadow figure looms tiredly from the shadows and points toward the boxes with hollow eyes.
"Bunch o' games that I think are fun. And since you asked ... now you have to play them with me."
Or something.
I suck at intros.
Anyway, I wanted a place to talk about boardgames and card games. 'cause I can.

I just steamplowed my mother and sister in Ticket to Ride Europe.
I had to get from Edinburgh to ... A-something-something at the bottom of the board. And I ended up having the longest road because I did the TWELVE TRAINS LONG track out of boredom. XD It was beautiful.
Now my mother is eyeing Ticket to Ride UK like the addicted gremlin that she is. And I'm enabling her.

The fox and the forest card game was something I played yesterday with my sister. It's a two player game and pretty fun.

There's a mobile game called Evolution. It's also a board game. My mother recently got the board game. Apparently only I am willing to play it. Very sad.  |

Ended up playing a new game called Cover Your Assets which ... is less about the 'ha ha pun' and more ... a very literal description of what you need to do in the game.

Cribbage! If you haven't already played it, it's kind of difficult to learn but once you do it's addicting. I play a game with my partner pretty much once a day.
