I didn't like him at first, and I thought he was boring, but I'm starting to appreciate him more! I also like how hot-headed he is What are some things you like about him?

I love that Lionblaze was able to confront his demons so to speak, and I loved seeing him grow and mature in spite of the Dark Forest’s influence on him early on. I love how he didn’t want to harm Heathertail, and was scared of having violent fantasies (weren’t they partly caused by Tigerstar?) I think that proves he wasn’t just a villain or bully as Lionpaw, but a struggling teen who wanted to overcome his anger (I think apprentices are considered the equivalent of teenagers in Warriors).
I love how he was similar to Breezepelt in the sense both cats had struggled with anger and were influenced by the Dark Forest, but they still turned out different. Lionblaze was able to grow and mature much more quickly, maybe because Bramble and Squirrel raised the 3 well and he was close with his siblings.
He was even able to forgive Breezepelt and Crowfeather in CT, when he didn’t have to forgive them! I think Jayfeather not forgiving was perfectly valid, and I wouldn’t be able to forgive Crow or Breeze if I was Lionblaze or especially Jayfeather, but I love how Lionblaze changed from an angry apprentice going down a dark path to a Warrior capable of forgiveness.
I also love how Lionblaze spared Tigerstar when he had the opportunity to kill him. Right or wrong, this showed Lionblaze was capable of mercy.
I guess what I’m trying to say is while I loved Lionpaw, I have a ton of admiration and respect for Lionblaze.
His POV got boring in OOTS, and I hated the Cinderheart drama, but I truly think Lionblaze is a great character. He’s my favorite out of the 3, and I even loved his character when he was an apprentice. I didn’t think his POV was boring at all during POT- if anything I actually thought Hollypaw/Hollyleaf’s chapters were the most boring of the 3 (until around the end of Long Shadows-Sunrise, that is).
Lionblaze deserves more love.

I've always really liked Lionblaze, to me, he seems to be the most relatable out of him and his littermates, like, I can relate to Hollyleaf and Jayfeather in some ways too, but Lionblaze seems the most "real." He's also the only reason I finished POT, because I could barely stand the POVs of Hollyleaf and Jayfeather. I know he's gotten a bit intense and is a bit of a jerk in TBC with how he wants Shadowsight to be punished, but with everything he's going through, his dad being possessed, his mom being kidnapped, and by his former mentor jerk who tried to kill him, his mom, and his siblings, I feel he has a right to be a bit pissed off, and he stepped down from leader without much fuss, so that's a plus in his favor too. All in all, I feel like Lionblaze is a fantastic character, who is sadly over-shadowed by the more popular characters that he shared his arcs with.

Lionblaze's personality and emotions have always felt very real to me, especially when he was afraid of killing Heathertail in POT. It's the same in TBC- I can sympathize with him and understand why he's doing the things he is doing. His character has always felt super genuine to me.

I have always liked Lionblaze the most. Out of the three even when Dovewing and Ivypool came into the picture.

I have always liked Lionblaze the most. Out of the three even when Dovewing and Ivypool came into the picture. Same! My ranking are Lionblaze Ivypool/Dovewing Jayfeather/Hollyleaf I'm pretty neutral on Ivpool and Dovewing, and who I like more flips depending on the day, and I don't like Jayfeather or Hollyleaf, and they both have aspects that I like and dislike equally about them.

I always adored Lionblaze the most out of his littermates (until Hollyleaf went and made herself a little more interesting when murdering Ashfur so now he's in second place but still above Jayfeather for me). His impulsiveness and agression make him feel very relatable to me and I hope he doesn't die anytime soon.
He was awesome in PoT but sadly underused and had a very annoying romance plot with Cinderheart in OotS. He once again had some good moments in AVoS and has a lot of great scenes in TBC.

It's a shame he's so underappreciated. You barely see content for him in the fandom relative to his siblings, and even when he gets it, it's just making fun of him for being "boring" or a himbo or whatever. I think it's a disservice to his arc and flawed nature that he's treated like he's a nothing character. He is someone who has power and has to essentially learn NOT to use it and genuinely dislikes it, and his record with accidental killings and wild emotions helps to make him morally complex without just resorting to Thornclaw personality. He is almost TOO good in reference to his family and friends, and that's his flaw, that he's so prone to violence and anger over them. He has to make a constant effort to keep himself under control and he's not just magically fixed because of one epiphany.
The scene in The Broken Code where he steps down is one I really like. The fact that he recognizes he wouldn't be a good leader, swallows his pride, and steps down peacefully is such a good moment that I think cuts to the core of his character. He has the power to be leader and the respect to do so...but he doesn't want to be one. He knows he wouldn't be very good at it, and in that regard, he avoids the problem of many bad leaders.
I have compared him to Gawain from Arthurian mythology a lot, and I'll keep doing it because I think it's a great example of a flawed hero. There's a scene at the very end of the movie the Green Knight that gave me so many Lionblaze vibes.
