Which term do you prefer or are you used to more?

She-cat! It’s what I’m used too and Molly makes me think of someone’s name or a slang term.

I prefer she-cat. I know molly is the real-life term, but it sounds kind of silly to me, so I'm glad they use she-cat. I also think queen would have been a good option, but I know that it's a term used only for pregnant and nursing cats, so it makes sense that they only use it for that.

She-cat is obviously what I'm used to and it's what I'll always use around here, so that's what I picked.
I like molly more as an actual term though. It's cuter and it matches with tom.

Molly technically makes more sense when paired with Tom, but she-cat is what I’m used to

My answer is pretty much the same as Saint's. However, IRL I just say "a boy cat" or "a girl cat"

I like she-cat better because I'm used to it. I also like female cats being called queens, like what Rusty calls Bluestar when first meeting her. The "warrior queen" just sounded so regal and respectable.

I'm used to she-cat so I picked that but molly definitely makes more sense when paired with the term tom.

Is there a term you would use instead? I agree that they're both not great, but I don't know of any better replacements. i dont know either aside from just calling them cats. i know molly is the actual term but it doesnt sound right in warriors

I prefer she-cat, it's a lot more simple and straightforward.
