What's your opinion on him? I like him, and I'm leaving it at that.
Do not tease, tell someone how to behave, act aggressive, or bring up sensitive topics in this conversation. And no unnecessary comments like "This topic will start something". This is for people to have fun talking about Bramblestar.

I like Bramblestar. I like him less as the books go on, but I like how stern, loyal and brave he is and how devoted to ThunderClan he is.

I've always been neutral on him. Despite being an important character throughout the series, he never really stood out to me.

Hate. I used to like him at the beginning of TNP, but he just became unbearable down the road.

Meh. Don't like, don't dislike. His character fell off in the later half of TNP and hasn't stood out since.

Like. he is WAY too over hated and people love blowing things out of proportion, or they refuse to see things from his side and lessen such strong language used against him. also, people use other biased sources as facts when it comes to bramblestar and that really upsets me. he's NOT a devil or monster that people make him out to be, but he's also not perfect.

I like him. There are many things I don't like about him, but he's a nostalgic character for me and in general I think that he's devoted and good-hearted.
I've said it many times before, but I also adore him as a father. POT is definitely where I like him the most because of his relationship with the Three.

Rainfire Agreed, I think that part of him has been overshadowed in the recent years. Honesty PoT was the best arc for him, and I loved his relationship with the 3.

Neutral. When I started reading the books at PoT he was more of a background character so I automatically didn't care much for him and it's stayed that way since.

Neutral leaning towards like. He was really adorable in TPB as Bramblepaw. In TNP he was pretty cool, and I absolutely loved him as a father in PoT

I used to dislike him but now I couldn't care less. He's very annoying but I just don't care. He's wayyy overhated at that and so cute and precious in TPB

Absolutely have Adored him Since 2003 . imo he’s one of the Most Genuine and Realistically characterized Characters in the entire Series , and yes he has his Share of Flaws, he’s Had his Darker Moments , he’s been tested , tempted by ambition and promise of power , and yet has Remained Honorable(for the most part) and loyal to TC. Yes he can be Austere/Bossy and Downright Stubborn at times , and might not always handle Being stressed/under pressure in the most healthiest Manner . he has his Ups and Downs . But he has a Good Heart, is a caring Father , and Always Strives to do What’s best for TC to utmost of his Abilities . And After Reading This Series for 18 Years (19th Anniversary is somewhat on the Horizon) he’s still a Breath of Fresh Air to Read about Compared to a lot of the Cardboard, Copy/Paste Overly-Exaggerated Anime Stereotypes that have been in the series now(I’m looking at you Dovewing) . Really hoping for a happy ending for him in ALitM ,He Deserves it.

Some days he's neutral, other days he's infuriating.
Many times he feels just like the classic generic, do-good son of villain who needs to prove himself, etc, etc. Overall very dry and by god so boring. I never feel engaged in his character, every time his pov comes up my attention is always on what else could possibly interest me more than him. He is so boring. But not exactly hate-able.
Other times he is just insufferable. What first comes to mind about this is his ambition... or more so the several times he stepped out of his place in ThunderClan to pursue his ambition. Now it's been over ten years since I've read TNP, but I distinctly remember little kid me having a bad taste in my mouth every time I read his pov in the latter half of the arc.
His "ambitious behavior" was mainly him taking advantage of Graystripe's disappearance and trying to assert himself as deputy while his leader and father figure was still mourning. He latched on to that opportunity too fast without even trying to earn it. And no, I don't think he deserved the leader position at all, half of his leadership is just bending to other's will or not knowing what to do. He fumbles in almost every step as a leader and somehow the circumstances just end up okay afterward. Where the narrative tries to make him seem like a good lead, I just see him stumbling in every step of his position. Not saying he needs to be perfect, but by lord, I know many others can do better.
I'm not even going to address the Tigerstar teaming he was doing in TNP, it just feels more like a screw-up on the Erins end rather than an issue with his character.
Overall, he's boring and his pompous behavior during Graystripe's disappearance was awful and him overstepping his boundaries for a position he had nothing to offer in aside from uncertainty makes me angy
