Why are you neutral on Rainflower? To be totally honest, I didn't read all of Crookedstar's promise, and the only parts I remember are her being nice. I'd probably even like her if no one had told me how she treats Crookedstar. I simply don't know enough about her to form an accurate opinion. |

Why are you neutral on Rainflower? To be totally honest, I didn't read all of Crookedstar's promise, and the only parts I remember are her being nice. I'd probably even like her if no one had told me how she treats Crookedstar. I simply don't know enough about her to form an accurate opinion. Well, while Rainflower is shown to care for her kits until Stormkit breaks his jaw, even before then it's hinted that she seems to favor him over Oakkit. After the accident, she fully places the blame on him, makes him sleep in his own nest, requests that his name be changed to Crookedkit despite Shellheart's protests, and says that he'll never be as good as Oakheart at Oakheart's own warrior ceremony. She deserves praise him a few times and welcomes him back after he runs away, but most of the time she's just rather cruel to Crookedstar. But like you said, you haven't read CP in its entirety, so this may not change your mind. Why haven't you finished it though, if you don't mind my asking? |

Ah, I'm sorry, it doesn't really change my mind. I like to read books and experience them before I try to develop an opinion on a character (so I can read fully what she said I suppose?) The only reason I've been unable to finish it was because of time. I have to read other things for school, as well as lacking a bit of interest in the warriors series recently, so I haven't really been able to just pick it up and read it. |

Why do you love Graystripe? I always thought he was a well-rounded character, and other than the drama with Silverstream, he seemed like a pretty loyal cat. He genuinely cares for his Clan and his friends. And he obviously cares about the well-being of others other than himself, evidenced by the fact that he brought his and Silverstream's kits to RiverClan, knowing that he would have to leave his Clan. Of course, that's not to say Graystripe has no flaws, as every character in this series has to have some flaws (unless they're very, very overpowered). I just think that despite his flaws, Graystripe is still a good character, and he has many redeeming qualities. |

Just curious, why do you like Bumble? I found her innocence to be charming, and I thought that she was a really interesting character. I would've really liked if they made a manga about her, or perhaps a short story. However, I don't really know enough about her to say I loved her as a character, but the parts that I did know, I thought were sweet. (Though, I haven't read DOTC in a long time so I could have things very mixed up! I just remember her as a kittypet who had good intentions.) |

That's fine. Why do you like Nightcloud? Mostly I liked Nightcloud because I felt sorry for her and could sympathize with her. She felt like her mate wasn't completely loyal to her, and she was consumed with worry that she was going to lose her only son. Honestly, I'd be pretty crabby if I felt that way as well! Sometimes I did find her dialogue to be a bit 'much' though. As in, she was a bit too mean, but I still liked her as a character, and I thought that, for the most part, her personality fit with who her character was. |

In her case, it was having kits because she was worried about her age. She also tried to make Crowfeather love her and stayed by him out of pride without liking him or even respecting him. She cared for Breezepelt, yes, but she would also coddle him and defend him constantly and would also talk bad about Crowfeather to him. |
