While they were both living, Bluestar never told Thrushpelt the truth about what really happened to Mistykit, Stonekit, and Mosskit, despite Thrush loving and caring for them as a father.
Do you think this was fair of Bluestar to do?

Absolutely not. I love Bluestar, but she should've told him, though I can certainly understand why she didn't.

Dunno. I think there wasn’t necessarily a clearly more moral option. Thrushpelt loved those kits as if they were his own, and I can imagine finding out that adoptive fatherhood was ripped away so that Bluestar could be deputy would have been just as hard on him as finding out they were dead.
IIRC Bluestar also did it because the genuineness of his grief was important to selling the story

If she doesn't, then Thrushpelt both must mourn them as well as the fact that Bluestar used him and the kits as a stepping stone. It's almost an act of mercy.

She was in the wrong. Thrushpelt was basically their father when the kits were in ThunderClan and he deserved to know that two of the kits he cared for and loved were still alive. Plus, maybe if Bluestar had told him her plan in the first place Mosskit would have survived.

thrushpelt was clearly a trustworthy dude. he deserved to know. plus, he would have helped her no matter what she said. he's very selfless like that and i can see that happening in an AU. he would help bluefur with the cover up story AND with getting the kits to oakheart.

I think she should have told him. He loved her kits, he was basically their father and deserved to know what happened to them. He thought they'd died until the day he joined StarClan. Also, Thrushpeltʼs a trustworthy dude, he would have 100% kept her secret and supported her.

Bluestar should have told Thrushpelt but I understand why she didn't.
