Do you think you would be a good or a bad leader for a clan and which canon leader do you think you would be the most like?
Personally, I think I would be a terrible leader, I get angry and jump to conclusions way too easily. Besides that, I'm also not comfortable with telling people what to do, unless someone told me to tell them what to do, but then I can go a little over-board with that. It's like, as a deputy, I'm like Mudclaw, where I'm second in command, but I'll sometimes act like the leader. As a leader, I'm like I guess Rowanstar during AVOS. I also don't have very strong loyalties to much of anything, if something starts happening that I don't like, I'll leave, so in the end, I'll probably end up Pinestaring it out of the clans, though I know he had a really good reason for leaving. So yeah, in conclusion my leadership qualities are a -5/10.

if i was a leader and had a decent enough time as deputy, i think i'd be a decent leader. but it would mean more responsibilities and more cats depending on me, it will intimidate me some days and i may doubt my abilities.
i'd probably be an active leader, helping with patrols, interacting with my clanmates and normal things a warrior would do. sure i have nine lives, but i would want my clan to see me as a regular cat with just more responsibilities

I think I'd be pretty subpar tbh. I don't trust my own decisions so I'd be constantly asking for advice which isn't the best show for a strong leader. I can't speak in public, and when something goes wrong I'd be blaming myself for it until the end of time. And leading a Clan into battle and dying NINE times is super scary. So no thanks.

Somewhere in the middle? I'd still fight for my clan, but if the clan annoys me, I'd loudly proclaim I don't care about it.
I don't think any canon leader is like this as far as I remember.

If I was Leader of ShadowClan the first thing I'd do is try to take over WindClan. It's the tradition

Well depends.
If I was leader I'd probably fall in the post-HJ Leafstar category.
However...would be fun to cause trouble.

I am more of a Tree. I don't care for responsibility or controlling people, and I'm content with doing whatever I like.

Top medicine cat babyyyyy
I would much rather be an advisor. I have a lot of knowledge and I'm good at planning things and organizing other people into certain jobs, which would all make me a good leader. On the other hand, I'm shy and lack the stage presence required for subjects to respect me as a leader. I'm also really not good at social politics and diplomacy.
I do best when I have some authority, but I'm not the top dog, if that makes sense. So yeah. I'm a medicine cat, lol.
In terms of which leader I'm most like, I guess Blackstar? I have more self-confidence and independence than he does, but I relate quite heavily to the whole "I'm technically good at leading but I have an identity crisis when there's no one above me to take care of things" idea.

just call me hollyleaf because i'll be a strict leader. this is why irl, i'd never actually want a position of power. everyone else would just annoy me whenever they stepped a toe out of line lmao

If I was a leader I would be alright. Idk if this counts but I'm already known as a leader to my younger cousins. I help them out with their problems, when they're getting bullied I either jump in or figure out the situation that's happening. Though I guess I would be Bluestar since she did spiral downhill because of Tigerstar and the fire. Reason why I say this is because I have a medical condition and if I deal with too much stress I either get super moody/toxic from the stress or have a seizure.

Me as a leader would be a pretty bad idea, I don’t handle things well when I’m in a lot of pressure and I don’t think I have the wisdom of a leader.

I think I would be a… decent leader? I'm a lot like Tallstar, peaceful, pacifistic and hating conflicts. I'm not working well under pressure, too, and I hate being in the center of attention. So I'd probably be kind of a pushover too, which isn't that good.

Hmm...I think I would be a good leader if I hid behind the deputy and let them take over all the public interactions. Because I'm fairly good at planning, staying calm, thinking of battle plans, sensitive to my Clan's feelings, but the greatest flaw is that this is all done by observation and staying back, not by interacting and talking. I'd suck at public speeches at Gatherings or Clan meetings.

Skypaw13That makes perfect sense, I'm the same way! MadameDeluneLmao, well, since WindClan is my favorite clan, I would be their leader if I was a leader, so good luck with that XD ᏞᎪᎠᎽ Ꮎf fᎪᏁᎠᎾms ミ☆Is that so? XD

I’d be a fun, energetic but also understanding and fair leader. I honestly wouldn’t mind the position, because I know my own limits and have enjoyed leadership positions before. Needless to say, I’d be no pushover, but I would also let my clanmates have fun and have a voice in the clan.

I like to think I'd make a good deputy, but not a leader. Being leader requires a lot of pressure. You're responsible for your medicine cats, your Clan's protection, the elders, warriors... ALL of these things. I don't think I'm capable of being responsible for that much. It's a lot of stressful work tbh.
At least with deputy, all you have to do is communicate with your leader, get up early and do the dawn patrols. I feel like I would enjoy something like that, but leader? Hell no! Cause like, what if I exile the wrong person? What if I make bad decisions for my clan? It would affect EVERYONE, and I wouldn't want that for myself or others. It just sounds like a lot of pressure, so I don't know if I'd make a good deputy, lol. It does sound like an interesting role, but nope, too much pressure for me.

At least with deputy, all you have to do is communicate with your leader, get up early and do the dawn patrols. Deputies do a lot more than that, and I would argue that they often do more than even the Leader. The Leader is the final decider as it were, but Deputies are the ones who carry out and enforce those decisions, and they're expected to be a representative both of their Clan to the Leader, and of the Leader to the Clan. It's a really important bridge position that isn't for the faint of heart. You're representing your Clan in diplomatic conflicts, you're taking in patrol reports and responding accordingly, you're managing social conflicts within the Clan, you're checking in on all aspects of Clan life to make sure they're running smoothly, and you're usually expected to be a second Leader if the Leader is incapacitated or the Clan is in two locations. A Deputy that just organizes patrols and ferries information between Clan and Leader is a bad deputy, tbh. And the Clan would say something if they had a Deputy like that, because he would lack the skills required for them to respect him.

When I mentioned the deputy communicates with the leader, I meant about what's best for their clan. Kinda like how Squirrelflight talks to Bramblestar about organizing patrols or how Stormtail talked to his own leader (I think it was Sunstar?) about important things and what's going on in their clan. Deputies check and make sure everyone's respected and doing their job and what they're told. I suppose I forgot deputies can take charges, but when I mentioned they communicate, I was thinking of when they both work TOGETHER to make sure the clan is running fine with everyone doing what they're supposed to do.
