Do you think Blackstar is a good character?

He's alright. But the fact that he got away with his crimes without any punishment (except for Rosetail and Stonefur being mad at him in his novella) still seems unfair. Oh well, it's way too late now, anyways.

He's an amazingly well-written character. Unfortunately, I think that was unintentional.

He is- I'd say that Blackstar is at least more "morally gray" than a lot of other Warriors baddies. The only thing keeps me from voting yes is that he got away with his crappy actions with no punishment.

There are characters who have done awful things and then feel no regret and don't grow from it Oh, absolutely. It's just that him regretting his crimes doesn't make them any less horrible or absolve him of a punishment and neither does it really help his victims or bring back their stolen chances of being able to continue on with living. While I'm now neutral on both Blackstar and also Leopardstar, because they did go on to be good leaders to their Clans, I still feel like they just got away with murder (allowing the murder of a Clanmate in Leopardstar's case). If Stonefur (and Rosetail in Blackstar's case) is shown to disagree or even argue with them at least once in a StarClan scene which would prove that he hasn't forgiven them and doesn't need to either because it's his choice to make after all, then even this one scene would be enough for me to know they are not completely off the hook, so to speak. Then there's yet another option with "forgive but don't forget", of course.

She also did that claiming fish in the entire lake thing and I just donβt like her

She also did that claiming fish in the entire lake thing and I just donβt like her Oh, definitely. There is a significant difference to the power levels Leopardstar and Blackstar (then Blackfoot) had at that time. Leopardstar was the leader of her Clan who could have prevented Tigerstar from taking over RiverClan in the first place which would have saved Stonefur's life. Blackfoot was one of Tigerstar's minions who posed as his deputy but didn't have any real authority over ShadowClan until Tigerstar was finally dead. While neither of them were able to really go against Tigerstar's orders once the bonehill situation happened due to Blackfoot's obvious unwillingness to even think about doing such a thing and Leopardstar apparently being too scared, it's still a mighty shame Stonefur had to die in such a terrible way. About the "fish in the lake belonging to RiverClan thing", Firestar mentioned something after she said that and it was also made very clear in the narrative that Leopardstar was not well at that time (diabetes according to the wiki) and she died at the beginning of the following book, so I'll give her a somewhat pass (similar to Bluestar) because she was suffering from an illness and didn't live long afterwards.
