I'll never really be able to take "the cat who was keked to death" as seriously as I should, satanic powers or no, but I won't deny that he makes for an interesting story to follow. Also hopefully a good lesson to youngsters about how crazy you can end up if you assume that you deserve whoever you love.

It has been executed well imo. He began as a lover, when she broke up with him he became angry, kind of fell into the background but you could still see that he was angry, he plotted something big to hurt her, it failed miserably, he got to sit his time in StarClan to grow more and more angry while learing dark magic, he had hope when Squirrelflight came into StarClan but his anger was growing after she left for Bramblestar, and that was how he reached his breaking point what became the current arc.
