hello! rio here, but you might know me as kale or bee!! (bee will probably make a return soon haha)
anyways - i recently got super into the new netflix series Fate: The Winx Saga and thought about maybe making an rp based on it! i was just wondering if anyone would be into that idea! pls feel free to reply and help me with any idea if it does interest you!

To be honest, I was very disappointed with Fate: The Winx Saga. They completely ruined memories of Winx Club, and there was a lot that was missing from the original animated series. |

okok ideas for winx rp?
• basic “burned ones” battle?
• someone found a way to steal fairy magic?
• war between “we must stay hidden” and “we shouldn’t hide from the world” factions?
• disappearing students? maybe humans versus fairies?
• poisoning that affects magic? gotta figure out what’s happening?

To be totally honest, I didn't mind it too much. I just had a few problems with the world.
Problems:
1. The original Winx world was technologically advanced. The fairies could even do realistic simulations due to the technology.
2. The Winx Club main cast was more diverse.
3. The original Winx world wasn't just one planet. Solaria was a different planet, as was Eraklyon. The Alfea School for Fairies was in Magix.
4. There were three schools that stood out in the original Winx world and in Magix: Alfea was the schools for Fairies. Red Fountain was the school for Specialists. Cloud Tower was the school for Witches. They were three different schools in three separate areas of Magix.
5. Fairies should look like fairies. I didn't mind the dark nature of the series, but the fairies should've all had wings. Being able to use magic without their wings looked too much like the director mixed the fairies and the witches together.
6. The magic types were all messed up. In the original Winx series, there were fairies of all types. There were music fairies, light fairies, sun fairies, animal fairies etc. Each fairy was a special type, and not all of them had the exact same power which is what made it so interesting. It was the same with the witches. There were ice witches, lightning witches, wind witches etc.
7. The fashion was much better in the original winx compared to Fate.
The one good thing about Fate, was that they had more gender equality. In the original Winx series, fairies and witches were strictly women, whereas the specialists were all men. |

i see where you’re coming from, yeah - to be fair we could always just combine the original series and the netflix series as far as world-building and lore, so that that way there’s still some elements from the original series to it
honestly my favorites are either the stealing magic or the poisoning magic - i’m leaning more towards poison bc i think it would be cool to figure out what’s happening and how to fix it, and i think it would be fun to not reveal it all at once in the plot so there’s an element of surprise for the rp’ers

Well, all three plots are major plot points anyway. You can always do all three. Just one at a time.
By the way, would you also bring in the witches? If that's the case, and there was poisoning that affected magic as a whole, it would be a way of bringing fairies and witches together. Fairies and witches dislike each other immensely. |

I do agree with the Winx never existed thought.
As for the world, are you wanting the Fate world setup where everything’s in the one world but different continents? Or the original Winx setup where each kingdom etc is on a different planet?

for simplicity sake, one world but separate continents i think, but we can go with two separate schools that are on a sort of joint campus, so the middle ground is where everyone stays and hangs out, but training and lessons are on individual campuses

advanced technology would probably be a better option, i think
i know the fairies are gonna have wings, as well. in the original was each fairy unique in the appearance of their wings? or did they have the same appearance for everyone/for each type? as far as elements go i’ll probably have the major families of element, and then each element will be a sub-class to make it more variable, so like music fairies would be in the mind family and animal fairies would he in the earth family

Each fairy had different wings unique to them. There were also different transformations/levels to a fairy's power.
Standard:
Winx- The first level. It's the most basic and standard form for fairies. This is the level most students are at when they first arrive at Alfea. A fairy first transforms when they have a strong will and belief in their magical abilities.
Charmix- The second level. It magnifies the fairies powers and spells. It is only earned when a fairy overcomes a problem or emotional turmoil. The fairy will receive a personalised brooch and bag (whether shoulder or waist). It boosts the fairies magical energy for a short period of time. It runs out quickly and can drain the fairy.
Enchantix- The third level. It is the form needed for a fairy to graduate from Alfea. The fairy finally becomes a fully fledged guardian fairy. Enchantix is earned when the fairy saves someone from their home country and shows great sacrifice when doing so. This transformation range from their clothes, hair and wings changing. They also have a choker that holds their fairy dust. They use faiiry dust to miniaturize, break dark spells etc. Enchantix wings are sustainable at higher wind speeds than those of a standard fairy.
Higher Forms of Power:
These higher forms of power can only be used in specific situations.
Believix- Believix is the form that is given when a fairy makes people believe in magic. It is a power that reaches others hearts. It is a stronger form than Enchantix. There are three Believix wings- Speedix (speed boost wings), Zoomix (wings used for teleportation), Tracix (see visions of the past). There are also two sub-transformations off Believix. These transformations are given by Ethereal Fairies (blue, green and orange). The first is Sophix. It is the gift of Wisdom given by the blue fairy. It is the power to magically unite with nature. The second is Lovix. It is the gift of heart given by the green fairy. It is the power of ice, inspiring courage to face dangers. There is a third gift by the orange fairy known as the gift of darkness. It is a dark sphere with purple lightning streaks. It can only be used once by a fairy to bring one dead individual back to life.

Harmonix- Harmonix is a temporary form. It is used only when a fairy is completing the Sirenix quest, an underwater form. After finding and unlocking the Sirenix Book, the book gives the fairy a Sirenix Box which contains their Guardians of Sirenix who grant them Harmonix. If a fairy does not complete the Sirenix Quest within one lunar cycle, they will lose their powers forever. In order for a fairy to earn Harmonix, they must locate and open the Sirenix Book. Their Guardians of Sirenix will then grant them Harmonix. Harmonix allows fairies to use their magic easier in mid-air, on land, and underwater. It also helps fairies to swim faster.
Sirenix- The Source of Sirenix is found in the cave in Lake Roccaluce which protects Sirenix and grants it to fairies who have completed the Sirenix Quest. If a fairy does not complete the Sirenix Quest within one lunar cycle, they will lose their powers forever. In order for a fairy to earn Sirenix, they must find the Gem of Self-Confidence, the Gem of Empathy, and the Gem of Courage. After that, they need to activate the magic spring of Lake Roccaluce by using the Source of Sirenix. Sirenix grants its possessor access to the Infinite Ocean and gives fairies and witches the ability to use their magic easier in midair, on land, and underwater. It also helps them to swim faster.
Mythix- In order to earn Mythix, a fairy must prove herself before the Ancestral Wands. In turn, the wand she receives will grant her Mythix. Mythix gives its users the ability to enter the Legendarium World, and also the ability to teleport themselves in and out of the Legendarium World. The Ancestral Wands grant their users the ability to summon projections of legendary clues by exclaiming "Mythix insight" or "Mythix vision". The wands are also used as a homing device for the Fantasy Emerald and the Silver Spear.
Butterflix- Butterflix is the form given to a fairy when they prove themselves worthy as a true defender of fairy animals. It grants the fairy a nature-based power that cannot harm nature itself.
Tynix- Tynix is parallel to Butterflix. Tynix can only be accessed when the fairies bonded fairy animal grants them the Tynix bracelet. This bracelet allows for the fairies to communicate with fariy animals other than their own. It also creates an unbreakable link between themselves and their bonded fairy animals. No matter how far away they are from their bonded fairy animal, they can always join together. With Tynix, the fairy and their bonded fairy animal can combine their powers to create something new.
Cosmix- In order to earn Cosmix, a fairy must receive the Cosmix power granted by the Queen of Lumenia. Cosmix allows the Winx to give back light to all the dying stars cores. The power also lets the girls close/destroy the traversing black holes. It also indirectly allows them to breathe and use their magic underwater.

Was just showing you the different transformations and how they differ from fairy to fairy.
Are you going to follow the monarchs in Fate or are we going to have different ones? While Luna was the Queen in Fate, she's no longer the Queen in Winx Club since her ex-husband is the true ruler of Solaria. Plus their personalities (Fate Luna & Winx Club Luna) are completely different.

i’ll probably follow the fate-story monarchy since that’s what i have experience with as far as watching, but i’ll probably make her daughter an npc characted since i’m going with the winx never existed in this rp

Basic Summary
Winx World - One world, different continents.
- Technologically advanced (virtual reality training simulator & spaceships).
- Currently known continents: Solaria, Eraklyon, Magix?
- Alfea, Red Fountain
- The schools will be in Magix? Solaria?
- Keep the dark atmosphere of Fate.
- Faries and Specialists can be both men and women.
Alfea - Fairies have wings.
- Transformations limited to three for students (Winx, Charmix, Enchantix).
- Higher Level Transformations for teachers.
- Alfea and Red Fountain are separate schools, but are close by so students can interact.
Plot - One plot:

i think i decided not to include the witches on this one since fate didn’t, and i feel like it would just be easier to have two main factions to focus on, and i landed on the poisoned magic plot as well

There will be three years- first year (Winx), second year (charmix) and third year (enchantix). Cannot graduate the year until they transform, and they cannot graduate school until they have mastered their enchantix magic.

Do you also want to add more continents? There's Domino, Andros, Linphea, Dyamond, Callisto, Melody, Zenith, Serenia, Hoggar, Dolona, Romulea, Espero, Prometia, Oppositus, Ohm, and Earth. It'll give people more places to choose where their fairies come from. Melody is mostly music-type fairies, whereas Linphea is mostly nature fairies. Zenith is mostly technological fairies and Andros are have fairies mostly related to water.
Also what about different species? There are elves, pixies, mermaids, ghouls, ogres, hunting trolls, snake rats, undines, giant turtles, red willows, dragons (what the specialists use), bake-o-monsters, spiders, spider eaters, nightmare gargoyle, cravens, snow monsters, goldums, beetleroaches, nymphs, pixie pets, shadow monsters, kerborg, trogs, guard worms, wizards, witches, ice serpents, mer-monsters, kraken, storm harpies, fariy pets, selkie, guardian of sirenix, fairy animals and more.
Maybe just limit to the human-like species? Elves, pixies, mermaids, selkies, nymphs, undines.
And dragons for the specialists?

Also, who will be the headmistress? In Alfea, for Fate, it was Rosalind. For Winx Club, it was Faragonda. As for Red Fountain (specialists), Fate had the two schools joined, so the headmistress was Rosalind. For Winx Club, it's Saladin a Sorcerer.
Alfea
First year curriculum: Freshmen fairies learn how to master their own source of power, as well as their Winx, and learn many basic spells they can use in their daily life as well as spells cast spontaneously and on instinct. Learning how to change one's appearance in metamorphosis class and making potions in Potionology are part of this year's education. Fairies also learn how to explore diverse environments or complete certain tasks in the Simulation Room. Choosing one of the two prompts is a fairy's midterm. Some training exercises are also required.
Second year curriculum: In their cognitive analysis class, fairies increase their magicial abilities by learning technical incantations, spells requiring cognitive analysis and accurate pronunciation. Other classes include magic invocation, which teaches the practice of making magic through technical charms, magic self-defense, which teaches how to defend oneself through the use of spells, and applied convergence, which teaches how to effectively combine powers. They also have the goal of earning Charmix, a power-up that will temporarily boost their energy.
Third year curriculum: After spring break, fairies are tasked with their final exam; earning Enchantix, the Final Fairy Form in a fairy's formal educational journey to become a full-fledged fairy. Those who achieve Enchantix will participate in training exercises to hone their abilities.
Graduation: After earning Enchantix, the basic fairy education is completed and they will receive the titles of Guardian Fairies of their respective homeworlds.
Red Fountain
The students can become true warriors here, skilled in the use of magic and technology! Red Fountain is the Magix college that trains the bravest boy and girls in the Magical Dimension to become qualified Magix experts. They help the fairies and are always ready to lend a hand. The students live in the college. They learn how to use all kinds of weapons, from the most traditional to the most technological. They drive special vehicles that they can use on their missions. Each one has his own personal dragon that he trains with.
Red Fountain trains young men and women to fight using normal and magical methods, in hopes to serve their own home world's military one day.
Students are trained with classical weapons like swords and maces and modern weapons like blasters. The students also learn to ride dragons.
The school has a diverse array of classes from basic survival and dragon wrangling, to close quarter combat and even flying fighter crafts.
