danger days
"This wasn't supposed to happen..."
A cure for sleep has been found, by taking a cheap pill people no longer need to sleep. You opted to continue sleeping and now 1 year after the release of this pill you notice that people are starting to act oddly.
After hitting your head you've seen most people as these horrifying and ugly beings as if they had suddenly lost their masks. The crazy town-hobo notices you gawking one day and asks: "Wait, you can see them too?"
"Out there, in the wilderness, we discovered the bones of a god."
