In The Place of No Stars, some cats believe that Squirrelflight has betrayed the Clans and is helping Ashfur/Bramblestar. Several cats in ThunderClan argue about what happened and what Squirrelflight's true intentions were. Which argument at the time sounded most likely? (Obviously us readers know that Squirrelflight was abducted, but this is from the cats' POV)
Bumblestripe's (and Thriftear's) Argument: Squirrelflight is a traitor to the Clans and only cares about Bramblestar, not her own Clan.
Ivypool's (and Twigbranch's) Argument: Squirrelflight did help Ashfur, but only to save Bramblestar's body.
Cinderheart's Argument: Squirrelflight took Bramblestar/Ashfur to be far away from the Clans and ran away.
Sparkpelt's (and Bristlefrost's) Argument: Squirrelflight would never betray the Clans or warrior code. She's a loyal deputy to ThunderClan since forever.
I personally think Ivypool's argument sounded most valid.

I think Ivypool and Sparkpelt's argument sounds more reasonable.

Ivypool's argument is the most valid. Hell, that is literally exactly what Squirrelflight was going to do before Rootspring and Bristlefrost convinced her otherwise. Bristlefrost's argument is also technically valid, as it is ultimately the choice that Squirrelflight made after being talked down, but it was not her first instinct, and she spent pretty much the entire book trying to stall it out. Ivypool's case arguing that Squirrelflight helped Ashfur escape to save Bramblestar's body is the fairest and most correct argument because Squirrelflight literally admits point blank that that was her intention before being dissuaded by two other cats.

I'm in between Ivypool's and Bumblestripe's. (Though, I think Squirrelflight cares more for herself than Bramblestar)

Yeah... I don't think she loves ThunderClan. I think she loves her family.

100% it's bumblestripe's argument. squirrelflight clearly put her feelings before everyone else's. she says "dont kill my mate waaaah" and cries about it while giving the other clans no other options or alternatives on what to do. she is selfish through and through. she claims to care about thunderclan, but almost all her choices and actions show she only cares for what SHE wants. everyone else's opnions and state of being be damned.

I think all cats arguements are vaild since every ThunderClan cat has a different opinion regarding what happened when Squirrelflight disappeared.
Though Shadowsight is at fault for Ashfur escaping his prison in ShadowClan, Shadowsight didn't want to risk Bramblestar's body dying and never being able to get him back. Because Shadowsight did let Ashfur escape, Bramblestar was able to get back into his body and is now finally back in the living world as of the end of The Place Of No Stars.

Ivypool and Twigbranch's, though I want to side with Bumblestripe and Thriftear's. Squirrelflight clearly doesn't want Bramblestar dead, even if the Clans perish. But oh obviously the cats believe in Squirrelflight's greater side.

Ivypool and sparkpelt’s argument is the most believable.

Thriftear/Bumblestripe and Ivypool/Twigbranch's arguments are fairly the same and just depends on which side of Squirrelflight you see more, and what light you regard her in. Doesn't matter if she helped the imposter, with good intentions or not, she would still be committing treason because she would be going against the final choice of the other Clan Leaders. She also pretty much almost actually did that, considering she attempted to free him but then had to be talked down by much younger cats. No matter how you look at it, her behavior was quite selfish.
