It was amazing! It's in my top three for sure! Spotfur was likable, and her POV was very enjoyable to read. There was focus on the background characters, and a lot of cats got eye colors! One scene that amused me, was when Snaptoothpaw was talking about how when he was sick, he thought he was an eagle, and his littermates had to talk him out of jumping from a tree XD. I think Dewnose inherited his mother's temper, when he got angry at Thriftpaw for messing up the medicine cat stock, it reminded me of when Brightheart yelled at Daisy's kits for playing in the medicine cat den in TNP. Also, about this scene, it was wrong of him to send an apprentice out at night alone, but I don't think he did it to be malicious, I just think that he didn't really think it through, and you could tell he felt really bad about it. Not to mention, the family tree has him listed as Baykit's father, and he was also probably worried that something terrible could have happened to him. On the note of punishments, I really liked the fact that Spotfurpaw and Stemleafpaw were made to do extra duties when Spotfurpaw almost attacked Bumblestripe as a joke, it reminded me of back in the day. Spotfur's reaction to Shellfur reminds me a bit of Lionblaze's to Berrynose, like with how they thought they were arrogant and stuff, and well, Shellfur does seem to be a bit arrogant. However, he did care that Stemleaf died, which makes him look like less of a self-absorbed jerk imo. I noticed one mistake, where Cinderheart I think? said "her" but Spotfur's thoughts said she said "she", but that's not really important at all. All in all, this was an amazing book, and my only issue with it, is that it wasn't longer.

I really loved the novella as well, although it was my least favorite out of the bunch. I definitely think the past set of novellas have been the best we’ve had. I enjoyed all 3 of them a lot! I wonder who the next novellas will be on. I’m hoping for a Snowtuft one to give him some backstory.

So far, Daisy's Kin has been my least favorite out of the bunch, I didn't really like that one at all, and I haven't read Blackfoot's Reckoning yet, so I can't rate that one. Same! I wouldn't mind a DOTC one or a Onestar one either.

Spotfur's Rebellion really felt human. A rebellious girl who doesn't think she is doing any wrong. It's so relatable to me when I was younger. Confused when I played around during a serious moment. Blaming the person who was actually the victim. I love it, and I think Spotfur deserves to get a new mate and get a full family.
One of my favorites.

I like how the books didn't paint her like she was fully in the right either, it showed both sides to the situation. I also liked how it actually showed her thought process on why she thought what she was doing was right.

This novella is single-handedly responsible for birthing my hope that Shellfur reconciles with Spotfur and tries to be a part of his nephews'/nieces' lives, bc that would be a nice bit of background character development for them both.
I kind of wish there had been more focus on the rebellion, but I did like the more slice-of-life feel, it helped breath character into some of ThunderClan's background cats.

I would LOVE that, and if they end up doing that in TBC, I won't rank it as the worst arc.
