Godfather Death (Six Page Comic - Done)

So anyway ... for those who don't know the story, the original is a lot dryer than the version Vicky told me. I'd post it here, but it's her witty retelling, so not something I want to just ... dump here.

Roughly speaking, this father ends up with too many kids and is running out of people in his small village to make godfathers.
So he asks God, the Devil, and finally Death, before deciding on the latter. For rather foolish reasons (e.g. Death making everyone equal.)
So small wee gremlin grows up and Death asks them what they want to do with their life. They say 'be a doctor.'
So Death tells them that he'll appear at the head of the bed of people who will survive sickness/injury, but if he's at the foot of the bed, back off, because those people will die. He also gives the godchild a magical herb (of course) that will help to cure them.
That works out fine for a while as an arrangement. Then said godchild gets asked by the very sick king to work this miracle magic.
Tough luck that Death's at the foot of the bed.
Now this 'smart' godchild thinks for a second ... then moves the bed around.
Death is 1) clearly mad and 2) maybe a little impressed. So doesn't insta-kill this idiot. Just gives them a nice warning.
So we're all good, right?
Ehhhhhhhhhh.
King's daughter gets sick. And what does our protagonist do when they hear that they get not just money, but half the kingdom and the daughter's hand in marriage? Tries their hand.
Only Death's at the food of the bed again.
Darn.
Well! Same trick is bound to work again, right?
Yes ... please say 'idiot' now. They deserve it.
Needless to say, they don't make it through that one.
