i had a friend on twitter ask a semi-joking question like "why is it called warriors if they don't fight each other anymore?"
and it got me thinking about stuff, so sorry if this is rambly (and i cant word things correctly sometimes).
do u think the clans dont fight enough? i know some people will say "well the series proves that helping each other brings the best outcomes so i dont see the problem" but i prefer more political conflicts and battles, big or small.
i preferred when the clans had more border fights, arguments at gatherings, political dramas and debates, and back when the clans actually had drama between them. now with bramble's code, they're all buddy-buddy together and it only makes me ask why they're not all one clan if this is how they're gonna act. no competition on the daily basis? no petty disputes over prey?
i dont want people to think i like it when people fight or that peace is dumb, but if they want drama, then why don't they keep things more seperate when it comes to the five clans?
anyone else wonder why the word warrior was chosen? they're not really warriors in the way i think of it. they hardly fight anymore. i guess it was chosen because they fight for, and protect their clans, but...there's not much fighting anymore? am i the only one who feels this way?

Bramblestar's code didn't really do much except reinforce what the Clans had been doing every time there's a big conflict. This really isn't anything new, and certainly not something that's exclusive to the latest arcs, it just made things more official. And even then, it certainly doesn't stop cats from breaking it anyway (Onestar, but then again, it's Onestar).
And even as someone who loves things like political intrigue, I personally don't see a problem with the Clans being at peace with each otherโin fact, I prefer it. They're still cats, so there's really only so much you can do with them without being repetitive.

I think they're still considered warriors, because they still fight outside forces. However, I wish some of those outside forces would be foxes or badgers again, instead of rogue cats out for revenge or something.

I wish they did fight. Like in TPB there was danger inside the Clans but now it's kind of different

Starting a petition on Change.org to change the title "Warriors" to "Politicians", can we raise $300? $300, ladies and gentlemen, $300? If one hundred people here pitched in less than it takes for one cup of coffee, we could really get places!

I wish they did fight. Like in TPB there was danger inside the Clans but now it's kind of different idk when exactly the fights started to lessen? the clans being friendly is more boring than a string of constant fights tbh. i'd rather have fights and wars, than political talks by constantly visiting other clans like they're all buddies.

You know, I have another question. A cat hasn't set a single vigil after getting their warrior name in FOREVER. So...if they haven't done their vigil, then they haven't really solidified their place as warriors..so by that logic..are they really warriors?

Although I somewhat agree that fighting each other is more interesting for the Clans as a story element rather than talking it out, it does make sense for the story progression in which the writing team is trying to take Warriors as a long running series. After all, making them battle each other constantly instead of letting their characters look for solutions to prevent unnecessary bloodshed would get repetitive at some point. Then there's also the fact of the Clans probably having learned from their mistakes while doing needless wars in the past.
I'm still in agreement with the title of this series and think it will continue to live up to the name. Some more problems inside each individual Clan seem to lurk just around the corner for the new arc if the blurb for ASC is really anything to go by.

The reason they are called out Warriors isin't just about fighting though. Battles play a role in it, but they also call themselves "warriors" due to the honorable laws they live by, and the fact that they help and protect eachother by hunting and patrolling. It is more about the honor in their job than the fighting.

I personally hope that the Clans will fight each other less, but that there will be some more inner-Clan problems. Or problems by outside forces like badgers, foxes, etc.
