How do you feel about her? She irritated me in every scene and she only appeared for like two hundred pages. She's meaningless, annoying, and perfect.

I dislike her.
She served no other purpose except to get in the way of the relationship between Bramblestar and Squirrelflight. The other purpose, which is that not all kittypets are pampered weaklings, has already been done multiple times before. I feel like she's near perfect and I never once enjoyed reading about her, except maybe the first scene she was introduced in.

I just hate how she was basically a plot device to shove BrambleSquirrel back together.

Dislike. Jessy was just like Velvet- just a love interest for the sake of having a love interest. She felt like a Squirrelflight-lite to me.

Am I the only one who didn't hate Jessy. I agree she was unnecessary but she never did anything that made me despise her. I do think it's stupid that she was a natural at clan life yet didn't join the clans. Good for her that she chose not to though and got the heck away from Bramblestar. I also feel like for a character who was in ONE book she gets too much hate.

Pointless, but it's wild how she would have probably been a better mate for Bramble than Squirrel ever was lol.

Neutral, borderline slight like. I actually was happy she got away from Bramble and didn't allow cheating, since that was what Bramble was clearly trying to do.

Dislike, borderline hate. Jessy is rude, arrogant, and somewhat of a mary sue. She does everything perfectly on her first try, she has no struggles and that makes me not enjoy reading about her. She also serves no purpose to the story other than to separate Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw. Glad she was gone.

I don't understand the hate coming for her for being "perfect" I didn't really get those vibes from her at all, especially from a minor character being shown through the eyes of Bramble who was obviously smitten. She was good at hunting and fighting despite being a kittypet, and that's pretty much applicable to Hal and Firestar. It just comes naturally to some cats.
As for her personality, she was pretty much just a Squirrelflight clone shoved in for drama. Boring, annoying waste of interesting plot for the sake of crushing Squirrel and Bramble (who are like oil and water at this point) together.
However, I do wish Squirrelflight had Jessy's personality, she probably would have clicked with Bramble more naturally, instead of sitting through an entire arc of them fighting and arguing only for them to get together in the last book... only to break up again, so on so forth
I don't hate her. in a different circumstance, she would have been interesting but unfortunately the erins had worse plans. She's a mild dislike on my list

Heavy dislike from me. Her character served no purpose, the fact that Bramblestar was looking at her through rose-colored glasses and that she was basically Squirrelflight dyed brown did her no favors whatsoever, she was way too bold for my liking (ex: introducing herself to Tawnypelt even though Bramblestar told her to stay put), and the part where she just moves her nest next to Bramblestar's, while he's sleeping no less, was just really creepy.
I'm glad she left, but it's so disappointing how much of a wasted character she actually was.

I actually didn't mind her and would have preferred her and Bramble getting together rather than forcing Squirrel back with him

So both of their relationship statuses were free real estate at that point.

I don't mind her, but I found all the other kittypets she brought with her to be way more interesting.

Jessy was a waste of a character and just there to be a part of another short lived love triangle/act as a plot device to bring BrambleSquirrel back together.

She had to be the most obvious "blatant romantic false lead" I've ever witnessed in fiction and I watch cheesy romance anime in my spare time. She was just cringy, boring, and entirely unoriginal, and there are few lines in Warriors that make me want to puke more "I'm sorry. I really am. I could have loved you."
