What are your predictions for after The Broken Code? Go wild, and reader beware, there may be spoilers in our midst! In addition, what would YOU like to see happen, even if it's unrealistic?

I'll go through some of the basic things i want to happen during/after TBC:
-The warrior code is changed -Squirrelflight dies/retires and Bramblestar dies -Bristlefrost and Rootspring end up together -Many cats are killed -A change in leadership of ThunderClan with NO Firekin

My wishlist:
- Bramble dies - Squirrel dies or retires - Misty dies in River - TC purge - We get Lilystar - Snowtuft goes to StarClan - BristleRoot find a way to be together - The warrior code changes - Shellfur plays a part in raising his brother’s kits
The last one is a bit random, but I came to like the idea after Spotfur’s Rebellion. Making peace with Spotfur over their mutual grief for Stemleaf + love for his offspring would be a nice mini-character arc.

Off the top of my head: Cats can take mates in different clans, primarily. No more cross-clan forbidden romance drama! This could work out in a couple of ways, with the couple spending a period of time in each Clan and being allowed to stay out of battles between their Clans. Alternatively, they both live in their own Clans, but are allowed to freely visit each other. Alternatively #2, one goes to live with the other, but secures a promise of peace from their new Clan to their old—sort of like arranged marriages. Kits are tricky; obviously they’d have to stay with their mom for a while, but perhaps a cross-Clan exchange could be done in their apprenticehood, like a foreign exchange program? So they get time in each and can decide which to devote themselves to when they grow up. It worked in DotC. I’m half and half on “medicine cats shouldn’t have mates” because the original reason for implementing it was stupid and doctors should be allowed to have families. But they’re also spiritual leaders, which is a calling I personally associate with celibacy. If the rule was changed to something like “they can have a mate after fully training another medicine cat, but must step down from visits to the Moonpool,” I’d probably find that fair. It lets them still help with medical duties, sort of like Brightheart, without leaving the Clan bereft of someone with full spiritual and medical training. Bonus points if Moth Flight admits her reasoning was dumb. The leader’s word is law is changed, because things like this and Brokenstar’s/Tigerstar I’s reigns show that’s too easy to exploit by the power-hungry. I’m not quite certain of the details that could replace it, but perhaps some voting system, with the leader having absolute power in emergencies (natural disasters, for example). This is something else that worked decently enough in DotC. Alternatively, it could stay in place with the caveat that a leader can be dethroned if they’re breaking the code—I imagine this would require some sort of trial via the medicine cats or other leaders.

More so for during TBC than after. I only care about Snowtuft getting into StarClan. Whatever else happens, happens. Okay I lied. Please anyone but BrambleSquirrel or Lionblaze as leader (well not ANYONE, wouldn't want a Blossomstar or Cinderstar). Especially not Lionblaze ugh. Bramblestar should die, Squilf should die or retire, Lionblaze should die or fade back into the background. A purge would also be welcomed.

I want Bramblestar DEAD nothing else is acceptable here since hearing his name alone inspires rage in me.
Squirrel can retire I guess, maybe have a relationship with her grandchildren she loves very much before joining her dead kin in StarClan(hopefully she dies soon because I don't want to read about her anymore) and I don't want a relationship exactly like Sandstorm and Alderpaw's though.
Hawkstar please.
Reedwhisker dies before becoming leader.
Stormcloud gets to do something and becomes deputy of ThunderClan hopefully.
LILYSTAR!!! You bet I jumped on this bandwagon, she's been though so much already and I think she's qualified.

Perhaps a "congress system" would work. A few cats are voted to be a part of a council, or congress, once every season cycle (or 4 seasons), and as well as other duties (I have not considered those as of yet), they would have the power to dethrone the leader if they were doing a less than adequate job and/or was breaking the code beyond redemption and thus was threatening the Clan as a whole. The voting system, performed by the Clan, would hopefully prevent the congress from developing too much power if they became corrupt. It's not a flawless system, but it's better than a solo leader situation. With that being said, there will always be cats that will seek to exploit and manipulate the system for their own ends no matter what form it takes itself in. With that being said though, an argument can be made against average warriors having such level of power. After all, most of them are just ordinary warriors - they're important, especially as a collective, but they are not special in the grand scheme of things, nor should they be. So with this being said, if there is a challenge to the rule where the word of the leader is law, then perhaps it should only be able to be challenged by the deputy and medicine cat of that Clan. Perhaps their medicine cat should have the legal authority to dethrone their leader if needed. Edit/Bonus: I can definitely see a lot of cats making their voices heard against the proposed changes to the warrior code. One argument I can see cropping up is, "The warrior code is an absolute. Never to be challenged, never to be questioned, never to be altered; extended upon, maybe. Admittedly no system is flawless; if a cat is cunning, sly, and ambitious enough, they will always find a way to exploit, challenge, or play the game all the way to the top for their own ends, and if such a cat exists and follows this path, one will surely achieve it eventually. You can't control the way the wind blows, or the direction where the water flows, nor if the stars shine at night, not even the destiny of cats... mostly."
