I would argue that Hawkfrost looks like he's just trying to be convincing here, getting into her space and trying to connect with her about always feeling inadequate. Not necessarily romantic--but that's just how I see it.

Also wow someone really drew Briarlight getting crushed by the tree...pulling on my heartstrings here.

All of these are really good! I'm insanely jealous of all the Polish readers who get these cards along with their books (also love the fact that they're drawn by the fans--imagine seeing your own artwork in an official Warriors book!!)!

As Fernflower already said, Hawkfrost is creeping up on Ivypool on purpose to seem more compassionate about her problems and convincing her to trust him. This picture really captures his manipulation and I don't see anything romantic in the way he looks at her. It's more predatory than anything else.
