I don't really like jealousy and personally feel really grossed out with myself when I get jealous but I really thought that aspect of Ivypaw's character was handled well. She was just a kid when her sister started getting special treatment and other cats wouldn't stop comparing her to Dovepaw so I found it all too reasonable she felt the way she did. on a side note Blossomfall's jealousy was not a all handled well... I am not disabled so maybe I can't know for sure but I think that Jayfeather's bitterness was very understandable. I mean everyone around him was telling him to give up on his dream of being a warrior and he eventually did have to so I can't fault him there. I do think he takes out his anger on innocent cats a little to often however. Crowfeather, oh where to start with this guy. He has been given a raw deal in life I guess. Loosing loved ones at such a young and impressionable age, dealing with thoughts of suicide, & accidentally treating other poorly because you completely lack social skills are things I can definitely relate to at some extent. Someone get this dude a therapist. I was also able to relate to Feathertail a bit in her manga, I've never dealt with anything as extreme as she has but I know that forgiving people who have hurt you can be very hard.

crowfeather & jayfeather both need therapy so they can learn how to express their feelings and thoughts in a less aggressive way.
for some reason i wanted to say hawkwing was a realistic character.

Dovewing, even if not the most well-written, is a very human and flawed character.

Because I can personally relate to her a whole lot I'm going to say that Squirrelflight is very realistic/flawed.

Ivypool is pretty realistic and relatable, and Bristlefrost is similar in that sense too. They're very down-to-earth personality-wise.

Ivypool for sure. I also think that in terms of realistic characters, Graystripe fits the mold too in his preference for second in command over leadership. Violetshine and Twigbranch were great for how not knowing your origins can shape your life.

To add onto these, I feel like several of the characters in Mapleshade’s Vengeance act realistically, like how someone would in that situation for real. A lot of these characters decisions and reactions are flawed, which makes them interesting and more “realistic.”

crowfeather. his insecurities as an apprentice made it hard for him to fit in, which mirrored a lot of his behavior as an adult. his prickly exterior makes the cats around him feel excluded, but the trauma he experienced beforehand do a good job explaining why he is this way without justifying it. his whole story was written so well, and I found his struggles with fitting in extremely relatable.

Rootspring. He's written like a typical bratty, immature, confused kid/teenager, and reading from his POV as he grew up felt really realistic and well written.

Gray Wing and Feathertail for sure. Squirrelflight is also realistic, so is Dovewing.
