This is so accurate, I love it! What are their real names? From left to right, they are Pandora, Ravenpaw, and Rory. Pandora even has the swirl pattern on her side, though Ravenpaw has a small white dash on his chest (hence why he's called Ravenpaw).

That's really adorable! I love Rory's half-striped tail.

That's really adorable! I love Rory's half-striped tail. He has stripes on the lower half of his tail, his face, and his upper legs. The rest of him is this dappled rain looking pattern. As a kitten, he was just solid orange, unlike his 2 orange tabby sisters, which is why I picked him - he was different.

They are genetically tabby but only have faint tabby markings and their body can look mostly solid. In some breeds, ironically, breeders selected ticked tabby to wash out the ghost markings normally displayed by even non tabby ginger cats. It's also the trademark pelt of Abyssinians, who are selectively bred to show even less markings.

It's also the trademark pelt of Abyssinians, who are selectively bred to show even less markings. A ticked tabby is exactly what he is. I had never heard of them until about a year before I got Rory, when a friend of mine got a gray ticked tabby. I didn't know he was linked to an Abyssinian though - I would've loved to get an Abyssinian, but wasn't willing to pay that much for a cat. Plus Rory was a bit of a surprise - my Siamese Torino (the one in my avvie) had died 2 days before, and I had no intentions on getting another cat, but by chance there was a PetSmart next door to a Books-A-Million (I made a day trip to Indianapolis specifically to go to all the bookstores looking for the new covers of Tallstar's Revenge and Bramblestar's Storm) and I had been on the road for over 3 hours, so I went in there to stretch my legs and just connected with him. Wow, did you plan to own the real life version of the Three, or was that a coincidence? They're adorable! This was purely coincidence. When I saw them eating together, especially in the order they were standing, I had to take the picture. I do have 2 other cats as well, though they were more interested in laying out on the porch than eating at the time.
