Do you think Rootspring is a well written character?

Oh very, I love his development and seeing him grow less ashamed of both his dad and his powers is very satisfying to see. We see him actively using his powers without fear of being seen as weird.
He is a good boy.

One of the best characters we've had lately.

Totally. He had one of the most well-written character arcs in Warriors. He used to be really insecure of himself and he even felt ashmed of his powers because he thought they were "weird". But as he grew older he learned to embrace his powers and feel proud about them. He dosen't feel ashmed anymore, and instead he's now fascinated by them and the culture of The Sisters. He's also shown to be more headstrong, friendly, loyal, and mature. He's a very well-written character.

New and fresh, he's definitely brought infinitely more to the platter than Bristle and Shadow in terms of characterization, in my opinion

I don’t care much for Skyclan or the Sisters in general, but I can admit that Rootspring is written just fine and is a good character for this series. He fits i. well!

Yes, from an insecure, defensive apprentice to a brave, kind and confident warrior, Rootspring has matured through his arc.

Absolutely! I think Rootspring's development from insecure apprentice to confident warrior was done very well.

He’s one of the best developed characters out of this era of warrior cats and I believe the single best in the arc.
If only everyone else was on the same page as him in terms of being well written.
He’s also actually VERY relatable I’m my opinion.

I've only read the first three books of TBC, so I don't know how he is in books 4 and 5. But I've gone on record time and time again saying Rootspring is a great character. In my opinion he's the only well-written character in TBC (which is why I haven't read the latest books-- just couldn't stomach the other two characters). He has a solid arc and while I personally find his personality annoying, I can appreciate a solid character arc when I see one, especially since they're actually pretty rare in this series.

He's not my personal fav of the TBC protags, but I do think he's the most well-written of three. I've loved seeing him grow throughout this arc <3

I want to know what'll happen between him and Bristlefrost. The series only has one book left to make up its mind now! I love how their relationship is written so far because it varies slightly from most forbidden romances.
