Who are some of the most overprotective or overbearing or fathers mothers in the Warriors series that you can remember? Present your evidence in why you think or know they were this way. Who do you think was the most guilty of these traits? In my opinion, the trophy of the most overprotective parent goes to Clovertail, formerly Clover. Her sole purpose at first in joining SkyClan was for the cats there to help shelter her and her kits. For quite a long time she didn't even try to participate in standard Clan activities. I'm pretty sure it was implied that she was nursing her kits for longer than usual, which ties into her character. (Pretty sure Firestar mentioned they were "almost old enough to be apprentices", but I could be mistaken.) I've heard that she's since turned around, even compared to the end of SkyClan's Destiny, but she takes the cake for me. If this sounded like a rant, it's not.

I remember Millie has that reputation, sort of. But imo her situation was pretty understandable. Actually, I feel like Rainflower is very overbearing, especially pre-accident. She was shown to coddle her kits and protect them from all blame if they messed up.
now, I'm trying to think of a genuinely "helicopter parent" character and i'm drawing a blank

Nightcloud was a very overprotective mother to Breezepelt but it must have had a lot to do with his father Crowfeather as the opposite of that in which he was being really negligent.

Once kits become apprentices they have a life ahead of them of duties, so it's not like there would be time for a helicopter situation to develop? Question mark? Plus, there's a loose rule in the Clans that a mentor cannot apprentice one of their own kits. Now a Clan leader preventing their child from entering battles, limiting opportunities, etc. Now that would be interesting... Edit: Like a she-cat who is leader who has lost all of her kits throughout her life except for the one. To prevent this kit (now apprentice) from potentially dying, she becomes somewhat of a helicopter parent to them.

Stick comes to mind, his overprotectiveness was a huge part in leading to the death of his daughter.
