I actually really liked her. I like her with Lionblaze, I like how she's supportive and makes sure he doesn't get hurt. I like how she always supported her apprentice when Ivypaw felt left out, and I understand how she felt like she couldn't be a warrior because of Cinderpelt. Cinderheart has many problems as a character, but I have always liked her, and her friendship with Hollyleaf is healthy. She wasn't afraid to say Hollyleaf was wrong when she told the truth, and these two have always been very good at communicating with one another. She was really interesting in Po3, so it's a shame her entire character became a mess in OotS.

i used to like her, but then the whole cinderpelt thing ruined everything. i hate cinderheart for existing just to ruin my favorite girl cinderpelt... edit: forgot to add that cinderhearts whole existence is pointless. she doesnt need to exist. we could have just kept honeyfern, poppyfrost, and poor molepaw...i wish molepaw lived and cinderheart never existed....
here's some admittedly petty reasons why i hate cinderheart:
i hate cinderheart for having too many kits with lionblaze...meanwhile dust x fern had many kits who died, so them having multiple litters was valid and didnt feel like unecessary crowding...but all of cinderheart's kits live, and most of them dont have a purpose other than to take up space...literally only fernsong and spotfur are necessary. they could have had 1 litter with just fernsong and spotfur. there was no need for the others to exist and crowd up space in thunderclan with more firekin than before.

I think Cinderheart is a very nice character, she is very supportive of those she cares about, and a loyal clanmate.
One thing I do wish, is that she had more personality and presence for such the important role she had in the series.

I like Cinderheart. She's a good Clanmate and cat, very caring and loyal and supportive. It's a shame folks hate her for the Cinderpelt thing. I think that plotline wasn't done the best it could have been, but it was an interesting concept and while it's a big part of Cinderheart's character, I don't think it defines her. She's a cat on her own, especially after Cinderpelt's spirit left her.

Other than the whole Cinderpelt/heart thing, I like Cinderheart as her own character. I liked her a lot on PoT because I felt like more of her own personality showed through then.

Boring pointless cat who made some boring pointless kits.
She and Lionblaze deserve each other. Their so unseasoned and bland. The fact that zero cats in their gigantic brood died yet is infuriating.
Honeyfern is more likable than her and Poppyfrost has more character than her. Why is she the special one??? Because she’s a Cinderclone???
People call Heathertail annoying but at least she has more personality than this vanilla creature.
I’m so sorry if this sounds rude. I don’t have anything against anyone who likes her.

She was fine until her drama with Lionblaze happened. But I still don't understand why only she got reincarnated. What about Snowkit or Gorsepaw? Their time to live was cut even shorter than that of Cinderpelt/Cinderheart. It just doesn't seem very fair!

It just doesn't seem very fair! this...they really shouldnt have let whichever erin do this (im almost sure it was vicky?). there's no in-universe explanation for this "possession" thing. if this "always existed" in this universe, then you're right. why didnt cats like snowkit, gorsepaw, or those kits from shadowclan all get "reincarnated" or "possess" someone who looks like them to experience the lives they never got? makes no sense. the cinderpelt/heart thing only existed for an erin's bias toward cinderpelt and it has no reason to exist in canon. the lore and all the "but if this existed, then what about [other character]?" questions that come with it. |

Cinderheart after POT: during and after* I personally didn't care to much for her in POT, but I didn't mind her either, and honestly hoped they would treat her better in OotS, oh but I was so wrong. After they threw out her only outside agencies, her relationship with her siblings and Hollyleaf, they shoved her into Lionblaze's mate drama. And made a huge deal about her being special or not cause of the reincarnation thing, and I immediately just lost interest. |

It was a one-time plot device and nothing more. It's been implied that spirits have a will of their own but once they enter StarClan, reincarnation is impossible. Unless it was a fever dream of mine, didn't StarClan reincarnate Tigerclaw before he became leader of ShadowClan after he had died from his injuries? For many things it's stated that some other force controls the cats after the grave, and then StarClan intervenes, or it's a one-time thing and it doesn't explain why this cat wasn't reincarnated or whatever. It was said her spirit was strong. What is a strong spirit? They are simply a collection of memories and the cat's personality, especially at the end of the cat's life during their dying moments. They don't have as much free will as a living cat does. If someone mentions it occurred due to prophecy, then I'll just throw my hands up in the air. Nope, this was just an attempt to explore reincarnation while simultaneously adding some drama into it, romance or not.  |
