So, whenever I go to my Participated section, I basically see whatever I've posted in ever. There's no way to clean the "Participated Topics" up. Is there a way to make a "Remove from Participated" button?

There's a limit on the number of topics that show up in your participated tab. I think the limit is 30. So if you post in 30 topics, the 31st will be bumped out.
If you're having problems with the "NEW" button, there's an option to mark the topic as read forever. It won't tell you when it's updated.
I don't know if there's a way to remove topics from the participated tab completely, though. One of the admins or mods will have to weigh in on that - most likely @roswell
