So. I'm rewriting the series in a way that would close a majority of the plot holes, fix most of the character relationships, and make it so things like the PO3 plot actually has relevance. I need help coming up with ideas, here is what I have so far.
-- Longtail and Rusty fight, but Rusty actually has multiple wounds before Longtail snaps his collar.
--Spotted x Fire doesn't exist. Firestar has a bit of a kit-crush on her, but Spottedleaf is the one who tells him they cannot be together.
-- Scourge actually has more screen time in the books, coming in at around mid series.
-- Ashfur goes to the Dark forest, much to Yellowfangs dislike. TBC spoiler:
This can also be used as a reason Ashfur gained most of the trust of the Dark forest, as Ashfur would have more time around them, and they would have a hand in helping him get to the real world without StarClans help, so he could posses Bramblestar.
The last few are a couple of things I wished actually were true in the real series
-- Rowanclaw is canonically trans
-- Ravenpaw is canonically gay
-- Mousefur is canonically asexual
-- Tallstar is canonically gay
-- All tortoiseshell males are trans.
One thing though, I am NOT going to fix the genetics to a major level, minus a few tweaks, like making it so two gray cats have, well, kits that look somewhat similair to them. (And the whole thing about tortoiseshell males) I am also NOT making them behave like actually cats, so no fathers killing kits. I WILL be adding more worldbuilding, and giving the clans more fleshed-out culture.
