You can include villains if you want too.
I personally think Tallstar & Mudclaw would be my choices.
I was one of the people who really loved Tallstar's Revenge. Not necessarily because of Jake(though he is a King and I love him too) but because I loved Tallstar's characterization and for 12 year old me it was really interesting and complex. Tallstar was the first non morally righteous character I read about. He isn't bad but his whole motivation is petty revenge which is an incredibly selfish thing. It's also an incredibly personal revenge story not some dystopian revolution. I honestly wasn't even annoyed with him for being mad at his mother, Wollytail, or his clan. He seemed like a grieving teen and I liked that he didn't always put others first yet he wasn't totally selfish as he did love his father very much despite the hostility of their relationship. I found him fairly boring in the main series so I can't say to much about him being well written there but he was still pretty flawed as making Onewhisker deputy on your deathbed(or nest?) was a terrible move.
We talk about Mudclaw a lot on this forum so I don't feel the need to write a paragraph explaining why his character is good.

Crowfeather and Jayfeather are both very complicated and complex characters. I think there's already a comment by me somewhere on here that's rather similar to this one.

Hmm. For my own personal preferences and mine alone, I want to go with Onestar, Berrynose, Graystripe, Ivypool, Dustpelt and Mudclaw. They come to mind for me.

Definitely Hollyleaf. She's a well developed fleshed-out character with an actual personality who learns and owns up to her mistakes. But her redemption is a little bit rushed, and a lot of her character became messy after the Ashfur mess. But I liked the drama that came out of it, her PoV, her struggles, trust issues, and overcoming her mistakes and learning she was wrong. Hollyleaf is a character with issues and could have probably been done a lot better as a female villain, but I still like how she turned out.
